  • Publication number: 20220163567
Abstract: An apparatus for analyzing currents in an electric load is provided with a current measuring circuit, which can be connected in series with the parallel circuit of the load branches, and a detector for detecting a change in the current when the switching element in a load branch is switched on or off. The apparatus also has an analysis unit which is connected to the control unit and to the detector and analyzes the temporal correlation of a control signal for switching a switching element in a load branch on or off with the detection of the change in the current and/or analyzes the change in the current at a plurality of times of switching a relevant switching element in a load branch or the switching elements in a plurality of load branches.

  • Patent number: 11048657
Abstract: A bus driver for driving a differential data bus can be in a dominant data bus state and in a recessive data bus state. In the dominant data bus state, the bus driver connects the first and second single-wire data bus lines to a first and second electrical potential and temporarily does not drive the first and second single-wire data bus lines in the recessive data bus state. In the recessive data bus state after a change from the dominant data bus state to the recessive data bus state, bus driver connects the first and second single-wire data bus lines to a fourth electrical potential for an active time.

  • Patent number: 9342526
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for providing storage resources of a storage management system. A storage service request is received comprising an indication of a service class. A determination is made of all resource managers mapped to the indicated service class according to a first mapping. For each of the determined resource managers: a determination is made of selected ones of all the storage resources controllable by the determined resource manager; monitoring data of the selected storage resources is gathered; the gathered monitoring data is compared for calculating a score for each one of the selected storage resources; and at least one function of the determined resource manager operable to control the storage resource having an optimum score is called.

  • Patent number: 8963047
Abstract: The invention relates to a tubular cored electrode for producing a high-strength fusion-welded connection and relates to a method for producing tubular cored electrodes with a diameter of less than 2 mm. In order to avoid an oxidation and water absorption of the filler flux and to retain the original thermal reaction potentials of the mineral constituents thereof, according to the invention the tubular cored electrode is characterized in that the cold formed metal tube has in the longitudinal direction a tight fusion welded connection or a weld seam, which has a smaller weld penetration than corresponds to the tube wall thickness and in this manner a spacing of the metal bond of the tube wall towards the flux core is formed.

  • Publication number: 20130185217
Abstract: A method for supplying a feature specification of at least one authentication feature connected with a product, wherein a central device deposits in a database of the central device the feature specification and a reference code linked with the feature specification and uniquely marks the product. Within the framework of a request of a checking device, the central device receives a comparison code of the product from the checking device and ascertains the requested feature specification in the database by identifying the reference code corresponding with the comparison code. The ascertained feature specification is transferred at least partly to the checking device. In a subsequent method for checking the authenticity of the product, the checking device verifies one or several of the authentication features of the product on the basis of the received feature specification.

  • Patent number: 8132454
Abstract: Sensor components having sides facing the sheet material have one or a plurality of front elements which are detachable and replaceable with low effort. So in the case of wear of the sensor fronts, entire sensor components no longer have to be replaced but only individual front elements of the sensor component are replaced. The front elements do not contact the inner area of the housing and the sensitive measuring elements arranged therein. When the front elements are detached from the housing for maintenance, the measuring elements remain dustproof encapsulated in the housing of the sensor component. The front elements preferably have a comb structure which improves the transport of the bank notes at the transition between the sensor components.

  • Patent number: 7792966
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for performing zone entity modifications to entities in a network wherein a set of generic zone entity modification commands with an estimated lower processing cost is selected for each modification. Prior zone entity modifications in the network and the associated quantity of entities and processing time associated therewith are stored in a data structure. In response to a zone entity modification request, data associated with the current request is evaluated in view of processing time for prior zone entity modifications. An estimate of processing time for the zone entity modification request is calculated for at least two sets of generic zone entity modification commands. The set of generic commands with an estimated lower processing cost is selected and applied to the current zone entity modification request.
