  • Publication number: 20240292577
Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes electrical componentry, a heat transfer fluid, and a reservoir. The electrical componentry is at least partially immersed in the heat transfer fluid within the reservoir, and a circulating system circulates the heat transfer fluid out of the reservoir, through a circulating pipeline, and back into the reservoir. The heat transfer fluid includes one or more phosphate ester compounds containing intramolecular mixtures of alkyl and aryl groups and exhibits favorable properties in a circulating immersion cooling system, such as low flammability, low pour point, high electrical resistivity and low viscosity for pumpability.

  • Publication number: 20240287371
Abstract: A heat transfer fluid for immersion cooling of electrical componentry includes a mixture of certain trialkyl phosphate esters and triaryl phosphate esters. Also disclosed is an immersion cooling system employing the heat transfer fluid and a method of cooling electrical componentry using the immersion cooling system. The mixture of phosphate esters of the present disclosure exhibits favorable properties in a circulating immersion cooling system, such as low flammability, low pour point, high electrical resistivity and low viscosity for pumpability.

  • Patent number: 6531429
Abstract: The invention relates to improved compositions comprising thiophosphoric acid esters and dithiophosphoric acid esters or phosphoric acid thioesters and oil additives from the group of the polyol partial esters, amines and epoxides, and also to the use of those lubricant compositions in improving the performance properties of lubricants, such as greases, metal-working fluids, gear fluids or hydraulic fluids. Thiophosphoric acid esters and dithiophosphoric acid esters or phosphoric acid thioesters are present in the compositions preferably in a concentration of less than 400 ppm.

  • Patent number: 6410490
Abstract: The instant invention relates to a lubricant composition stabilized against the deleterious effects of heat and oxygen. The composition comprises a hydrotreated or hydrodewaxed oil and an effective antioxidant stabilizing amount of a mixture of a phenolic antioxidant; an N,N-disubstituted aminomethyl-1,2,4-triazole; an aromatic amine antioxidant; an alkyl phenoxy alkanoic acid; and an N-acyl sarcosine derivative. Optionally, further additives are added to the subject lubricant compositions.
