    Abstract: There is disclosed a signal processor for reception of data over a radio link in which one or more signals are processed in separate channels each optimally adapted to the signal in the sub-band being processed. Such a signal processor uses less power and at lower cost than a conventional signal processor to yield the same performance. The signal processor uses a novel combination of both analog and digital signal processing.
