  • Publication number: 20250075446
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to systems, and apparatuses, and methods for a screed system for a road paver that includes tamper bar subsystem including a screed plate, the tamper bar subsystem, and a tamper bar drive subsystem. The screed plate has a first paving surface with a first pattern for contacting a paving material. The tamper bar subsystem is positioned forward of the screed plate in a paving direction of the screed system and includes a tamper plate and a tamper bar. The tamper plate has a second paving surface with a second pattern for contacting the paving material. The tamper bar drive subsystem is coupled to the tamper bar and configured to selectively move the tamper bar between a first position and a second position in a direction non-parallel to the paving direction of the screed system.

  • Patent number: 12213852
Abstract: A system for measuring a depth of a periodontal pocket defined by a gap between a tooth and gingiva includes a frame, one camera, and a processor. The frame is configured to be worn by a user. The camera is configured to capture at least one 2D image of an intraoral target area. The at least one 2D image includes a representation of at least a part of the tooth, a gingiva margin defined by a section of the gingiva adjacent to the at least a part of the tooth, and a probe tip when the probe tip is inserted into the periodontal pocket. The processor is configured to receive the captured at least one 2D image and to determine an insertion length of the probe tip in the periodontal pocket. The determined insertion length represents the depth of the periodontal pocket.

  • Patent number: RE50152
Abstract: The modular screed plate assembly and method has a road paver/finisher, a structural/conductor plate and modular screed plates. The road paver/finisher has a paver under side, a power source and a heating element, for heating the modular screed plates. The modular screed plates have coupling elements, and retainer quick-connect/releases, and align as a modular screed plate array, providing a tensionally yielding gap allowing the modular screed plate array to absorb pressures from paving operations. The structural/conductor plate couples with the coupling elements and has screed plate retaining locks to securely receives the retainer quick-connect/releases, in order to secure itself to the modular screed plates. The structural/conductor plate receives heat directly from the heating element, and provides indirect heat to the modular screed plate array.
