  • Patent number: 10413974
Abstract: A method to control a power tool (1), especially a handheld core drilling machine, includes a drive (10) to drive a tool (30) and a control unit (40) for when a workpiece (W) is being processed. The method encompasses the following method steps: setting the rotational speed of the drive at a first value; measuring a first power consumption value for the drive; setting a threshold value for the power consumption of the drive; and increasing the rotational speed of the drive to a second value if the power consumption of the drive (10) exceeds the threshold value due to an increase in the drive load. The power tool includes a drive (10) to drive a tool (3) and a control unit (40) to control at least the rotational speed of the drive.

  • Publication number: 20170342422
Abstract: Amino acid residue misincorporations are necessarily found in sequence variants at low concentrations in admixture with expressed polypeptides, resulting from one or more base mismatches within codons susceptible to amino acid residue misincorporation during transcription and/or translation. The invention provides a method of optimizing the coding sequences of a polynucleotide that encodes a polypeptide, wherein at least one codon is susceptible to amino acid residue misincorporation. The method of the invention can be used to reverse-engineer an unknown coding sequence, which encodes the same polypeptide, but differs in said at least one codon from the known coding sequence. The method can further be used to alter the immunogenic potential of an expressed polypeptide. Thus, the invention is useful in engineering optimized polynucleotides encoding polypeptides.

  • Publication number: 20160211094
Abstract: A switch device for a panel element of a motor vehicle includes a first housing part arranged in or on the panel element. A second housing part, which is preferably disk-shaped or plate-shaped, is movable relative to the first housing part, particularly rotatable about a rotational axis. A switching element is arranged in a hollow space formed between the first and second housing parts and either directly or indirectly abuts on the first housing part. The switching element can be actuated due to the motion of the second housing part relative to the first housing part along an actuating direction. A sealing device features a first seal extensively overlapping the switching element transverse and/or oblique to the actuating direction at least on the side facing away from the first housing part.
