  • Publication number: 20240111578
Abstract: A method for hierarchical work scheduling includes consuming a work item at a first scheduling domain having a local scheduler circuit and one or more workgroup processing elements. Consuming the work item produces a set of new work items. Subsequently, the local scheduler circuit distributes at least one new work item of the set of new work items to be executed locally at the first scheduling domain. If the local scheduler circuit of the first scheduling domain determines that the set of new work items includes one or more work items that would overload the first scheduling domain with work if scheduled for local execution, those work items are distributed to the next higher-level scheduler circuit in a scheduling domain hierarchy for redistribution to one or more other scheduling domains.

  • Patent number: 6546952
Abstract: A service valve and cap assembly is disclosed. The service valve comprises a valve stem that is inserted into a valve body. An upper portion of the valve body defines a collar selectively formable between a first installation inner diameter to a second retention inner diameter. A service valve sealing cap includes a base portion and a generally annular sealing portion. An annular shoulder is formed on the sealing portion inner diameter, such that the radially inner diameter of the shoulder portion is less than the collar first outer diameter, and is greater than the collar second outer diameter.

  • Patent number: 4194315
Abstract: A fish stringer for temporarily storing captured fish in the water, has a recoil mechanism operatively coupled with the hook-supporting line of the stringer to permit selective extension and retraction of the line in accordance with the needs of the angler. The multiple fish-securing hooks in the stringer are shiftably attached to the line for sliding movement along the length of the latter whereby the hooks may be segregated from recoiled portions of the line. In preferred forms, the recoil mechanism is stored within a housing having a line-accommodating passageway formed therein of a dimension sufficient to preclude the hooks from entering the housing. A retainer clip on the housing holds the hooks in a convenient out of the way position until such time as they may be required for retaining fish.
