Abstract: Described are cyclopropyl carboxylic acid esters defined according to the structure: ##STR1## or the structure: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is cis-3-hexenyl or cyclohexyl methyl and R.sub.2 is one of n-hexyl, cis-3-hexenyl, cyclohexyl methyl or n-heptyl and uses thereof in augmenting, enhancing or imparting aromas in or to perfume compositions, colognes and perfumed articles. The compounds having the structure: ##STR3## are novel compounds.

Abstract: Described are compounds defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein Z represents meta or para cyclohexylene or meta or para phenylene and wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different methyl or hydrogen; and wherein R.sub.3 represents C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl; and wherein the moiety: ##STR2## is ortho with respect to R.sub.2 and para or meta with respect to the moiety: ##STR3## with the proviso that the sum of the number of carbon atoms in R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is 3 or 4; and uses thereof in augmenting or enhancing the aroma of perfume compositions, colognes and perfumed articles including but not limited to solid or liquid anionic, cationic, nonionic or zwitterionic detergents, fabric softener compositions, fabric softener articles and hair preparations; as well as processes for preparing alkyl-substituted-C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy-C.sub.6 -cycloaliphatic compounds.

Abstract: Described are compounds defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein Z represents para cyclohexylene or para phenylene and wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same or different methyl or hydrogen; and wherein R.sub.4 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl with the proviso that the sum of the carbon atoms in R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is 2. Abstract: Described are 1-oxo-substituted and unsubstituted isobutyl-4-ethoxy-benzenes and mixtures thereof with bicyclopentadiene derivatives, wherein the 1-oxo-substituted and unsubstituted isobutyl-4-ethoxy-benzenes are defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein Y.sub.1 represents one of the moieties: ##STR2## and wherein the bicyclopentadiene derivatives are defined according to the structure: ##STR3## wherein Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 represent hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 lower alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 acyl and Z.sub.3 represents methyl or hydrogen with the proviso that Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 are not both hydrogen, and uses thereof in augmenting, enhancing or imparting aromas in and to perfume compositions, colognes, perfumed polymers and perfumed articles.

Abstract: Described are 3,7-dimethyl-6,7-dioxo-1,3-octadienes or mixtures of same defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or ethyl and X is one of the moieties: ##STR2## and wherein the wavy lines represent a "E" or "Z" configuration of the methyl and vinyl moiety about the 3,4-pi-bond of the molecule, as well as methods for methods for augmenting or enhancing the aroma of consumable materials including perfumes, colognes and perfumed articles by adding thereto an aroma augmenting or enhancing quantity of at least one of said 3,7-dimethyl-6,7-dioxo-1,3-octadienes.
