    Abstract: A fastener driver tool includes a housing, a drive mechanism, a battery pack, and a fastener magazine. The housing has a grip portion located between a power supply portion and a drive portion. The drive mechanism includes (i) a motor, (ii) a gearbox operably connected to the motor, and (iii) a striking mechanism operably connected to the gearbox. The battery pack is received by the power supply portion and is configured to supply the motor with electrical energy. The fastener magazine is configured to hold a plurality of fasteners. The fastener magazine is mounted on the housing and operably connected to the striking mechanism. The motor and the gearbox are located in the grip portion of the housing. The striking mechanism is located in the drive portion of the housing. A center of gravity of the fastener driver tool is located within the grip portion.

    Abstract: A portable dog recreation device (10) for indoor and outdoor use by pet owners to leash their dog to the device so the dog can comfortably move about 360° tangled free within a defined area. The device has a base (12) so weighted that a dog tethered to it cannot move it about while a person can readily move it from one place to another using a handle (32). A post (20) is attached to and extends from the top of the base. The post may be integrally formed with the base or may be a separate piece. The outer diameter of the post is such that one end of a dog leash can be slipped over or tied about the post to tether the dog to the device. More than one dog can be tethered to the post at the same time.

    Abstract: A steering mechanism is provided, including a rack, a rotatable support member, and an automatically-adjustable support member. The rack includes a rack gear portion and the pinion includes a pinion gear portion coupled with the rack gear portion. The rotatable support member is positioned with respect to the rack or the pinion such that rotation of the rotatable support member adjusts an overlap distance between the rack gear portion and the pinion gear portion. The automatically-adjustable support member automatically urges together the rack and the pinion along an urging direction. The urging direction remains substantially constant throughout the rotation of the rotatable support member within a desired angular range.
