Abstract: Interchangeable and removably connected geometric carpet sections or runners that are suitable for use in homes, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, and the like are described. The carpet sections have geometric configurations wherein the various sections are removably joined together to follow a given path or direction. Alternatively, a plurality of stair step modules, contain carpet sections, which are attached to stair steps are disclosed.
