Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for tracking usage of a digital magazine and using that and other information to customize the digital magazine experience. A customizable digital magazine server, according to the disclosure, includes a recipient database that stores records on a digital magazine's recipients. The server utilizes information stored in the database to provide a digital magazine customized based on the recipient's information. The digital magazine also contains a module that monitors the recipient's interactions with the digital magazine and reports the interactions back to the recipient database.
