  • Patent number: 12104558
Abstract: A method of making a fuel grain for use in a rocket motor, the method comprising blending a first energetic nanoscale metallic compound and a second compound suitable to form a feedstock material for use in an additive manufacturing apparatus, the additive manufacturing apparatus operatively connected to a computing system, that provides additive manufacturing printing instructions to the additive manufacturing apparatus, permitting construction of an autonomously designed and optimized rocket fuel grain section; wherein the stochastic deposition simulation-assisted fuel grain geometries further comprise a plurality of agglutinated layers of solidified fuel grain compound, each layer of the plurality of layers comprising a plurality of blended and radially displaced beads of different radii, said radial displacement optionally optimized via competitive simulation programs, and wherein the system continuously mixes constituent materials in an inline/static mixer, with viscosity controlled via particle size var

  • Patent number: 8832196
Abstract: A system for information management includes a remotely accessible server configured for receiving a request from a user for a service provided by at least one designated service provider and for receiving a response from the at least one designated service provider; means controlled by the server for providing a first user interface that allows the user to download a preset template, to modify the template with user specific content, and to select the at least one designated service provider with a predetermined set of criteria; means controlled by the server for generating a virtual content module associated with the user that contains the modified template; means controlled by the server for transmitting a first notification message to the at least one designated service provider.

  • Patent number: 8272631
Abstract: The melon-holder includes an elongated base having a pair of jaws each pivotal about a separate side of the base. The jaws are pivotal from a melon-engaging position to a melon-releasing position. The jaws have a number of lateral spaces which are spaced apart from one another and which are adapted to receive a knife for cutting the melon into lateral slices while the jaws are in the melon-engaging position.

  • Patent number: 7180250
Abstract: A two-wire triac-based low voltage AC dimmer adapted for configuration in series with a typically incandescent lighting load. An external step-down transformer provides a source of low AC voltage, and a separate, electrically isoated loop circuit utilizing a step-up transformer converts a portion of the low AC voltage into a corresponding high AC voltage used to trigger the gate of a triac. An on/off arrangement that serves to lock the triac in its blocking may optionally be provided. A shunting resistor connected across the triac serves to dissipate static charge buildup that may otherwise falsely trigger the triac to its on state. A phi filter provides a smoother and more regulated triggering pulse to the triac, thereby minimizing or eliminating flickering and undesirable extinguishing of the incandescent lighting load at low brightness settings.
