    Abstract: According to the invention, a method for determining a rebate amount in a real estate purchase transaction is disclosed. In one step, viewing requests are received. From these viewing requests, the number of actual or scheduled viewings is counted. The number of actual or scheduled viewings determines the threshold. In another step, transaction data is received. The transaction data contains the purchase price and/or the agent incentive. The agent incentive is either a fee or a percentage of the purchase price. A rebate amount is calculated from the threshold and the transaction data. The rebate amount is then provided to a user.
