  • Patent number: 10991093
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, systems, methods and media for generating a bone age assessment. In some embodiments, a method comprises: receiving an x-ray image of a subject's left hand and wrist; converting the image to a predetermined size; identifying, without user intervention, a first portion of the image corresponding to the hand and wrist; processing the first portion of the image to increase contrast between bones and non-bones to generate a processed image; causing a trained convolution neural network to determine a bone age based on the processed image; receiving an indication of the bone age; causing the bone age to be presented to a user as the result of a bone age assessment; and causing the bone age and the image to be stored in an electronic medical record associated with the subject.

  • Patent number: 9213590
Abstract: Techniques are provided for monitoring and diagnosis of a network comprising one or more devices. In some embodiments, techniques are provided for gathering network information, analyzing the gathered information to identify correlations, and for diagnosing a problem based upon the correlations. The diagnosis may identify a root cause of the problem. In certain embodiments, a computing device may be configurable to determine a first event from information, allocate a first event to a first cluster, the first cluster is from one or more clusters of events, based on a set of attributes for the first event, and determine a set of attributes for the first cluster, and rank the first cluster against the other clusters from the one or more clusters of events based on the set of attributes for the first cluster. The set of attributes may be indicative of the relationship between events in the cluster.

  • Patent number: 8767561
Abstract: Manageability tools are provided for allowing an administrator to have better control over switches in a lossless network of switches. These tools provide the ability to detect slow drain and congestion bottlenecks, detect stuck virtual channels and loss of credits, while hold times on edge ASICs to be different from hold times encore ASICs, and mitigate severe latency bottlenecks.

  • Publication number: 20110297351
Abstract: There is provided an electronic equipment cabinet including a cabinet carcass (15) mounting fan cooled equipment (16) venting to the cabinet rear. A hinged front closure assembly (11) includes a frame (14) and an outer filter and perforated metal screen assembly on the outer face of the frame, and a lower condensation trap (20). The frame 14 supports an evaporator assembly (11) connected to a remote compressor/condenser assembly (not shown). The evaporator assembly includes a combined dew point sensor and thermostat (13). A non-woven filter web (19) acts a micro-droplet catcher on the inner face of the door assembly.

  • Publication number: 20080203803
Abstract: Lumbar distraction is an effective treatment for back pain. However the discomfort and morbidities associated with vertical inversion has limited its use. The Lumbar Distraction Chair delivers a gentler lumbar distraction without the discomfort of being suspended vertically. The device is a modified office swivel chair with inward folding arm rests that secure the patient's legs on the chair seat. The patient positions him/herself onto the device with their back lying on the floor with hips and knees flexed. The arm rests of the chair fold inwards and hold the patient's legs securely onto the seat. A pneumatic telescopic stand elevates the seat, which also lifts the patient's legs hips and lower back off the ground by several centimeters. This provides lumbar distraction to the lower back. In this position, pain and inflammation is alleviated. This permits the muscle cell relaxation, recuperation and repair.

  • Patent number: 6489060
Abstract: The loss in delivered capacity (capacity fade) after cycling non-aqueous rechargeable lithium manganese oxide batteries at elevated temperatures can be greatly reduced by depositing a small amount of certain foreign metal species on the surface of spinel in the cathode. In particular the foreign metal species are from compounds having either bismuth, lead, lanthanum, barium, zirconium, yttrium, strontium, zinc or magnesium. The foreign metal species are introduced to the surface of spinel by moderately heating either an aqueous treated mixture or a dry mixture of ready-made spinel and the foreign metal compound.
