  • Patent number: 10983028
Abstract: In a planetary gear arrangement with a planetary gear which includes a rotating part and a non-rotating part, and with a sensor module for sensing properties of the planetary gear, the sensor module includes a sensor as well as a first sending/receiving unit and a second sending/receiving unit, wherein the sensor and the first sending/receiving unit are coupled and arranged at the rotating part, and wherein the second sending/receiving unit is arranged at the non-rotating part, wherein the first sending/receiving unit and the second sending/receiving unit are configured for being inductively coupled, wherein the first sending/receiving unit includes an energy storage, wherein the energy storage is configured for being charged during each turn of the rotating part for powering the sensor via the first sending/receiving unit in order to perform measurements.

  • Patent number: 10668914
Abstract: A method for operating a drive-train (1) of a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine, a transmission connected between the internal combustion engine and a drive output, and a brake assembly. While the motor vehicle is traveling, if a manual command is given or if defined operating conditions exist, the drive-train (1) is operated in a coasting mode, in which the drive-train (1) is disengaged and the internal combustion engine is turned off. If the internal combustion engine, turned off for the coasting mode, fails to restart despite the existence of a signal to restart the internal combustion engine, a braking process is initiated automatically.

  • Publication number: 20190184960
Abstract: A method for operating a drive-train (1) of a motor vehicle. The drive-train (1) has an internal combustion engine, a transmission connected between the internal combustion engine and a drive output, and a compressed air system of a brake unit. While the motor vehicle is travelling, if a manual command is issued or if defined operating conditions are satisfied, the drive-train (1) is operated in a coasting mode in which the drive-train (1) is disengaged and the internal combustion engine is turned off. During the coasting mode, a pressure in a compressed air system of the brake unit is determined, and if the determined pressure reaches or falls below a predefined first pressure value, the pressure in the compressed air system of the brake unit is automatically increased, via a pressure-generator, to a predefined second pressure value.

  • Publication number: 20190184961
Abstract: A method for operating a drive-train (1) of a motor vehicle, wherein the drive-train (1) comprises an internal combustion engine, a transmission connected between the internal combustion engine and a drive output, and a compressed aft system of a brake unit. While the motor vehicle is traveling, if a manual command is issued or if defined operating conditions are satisfied, the drive-train (1) is operated in a coasting mode in which the drive-train (1) is disengaged and the internal combustion engine is turned off. In order to achieve the coasting mode, a pressure in the compressed air system of the brake unit is increased before the internal combustion engine is turned off.
