  • Publication number: 20230177681
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for evaluating in post-treatment an ablation of a portion of an anatomy of interest of an individual, the anatomy of interest comprising at least one lesion. The evaluation method comprises in particular a step of automatically determining a contour of the ablation region by means of an automatic learning method, such as a neural network, analyzing the post-treatment image of the anatomy of interest of the individual, said automatic learning method being preloaded during a so-called training phase using a database comprising a plurality of post-operative medical images of an anatomy of identical interest of a set of patients, each medical image of the database being associated with an ablation region of the anatomy of interest of said patient. The invention also relates to an electronic device comprising a processor and a computer memory storing instructions of such an evaluation method.

  • Patent number: 10590174
Abstract: The present invention relates to a genomic sequences encoding for an attenuated mutant Zika virus. The inventors have introduced some specific substitutions at very specific positions in the epidemic genomic sequence for restoring some fixation sites for miR-4279 that were originally present in the endemic genomic sequence. Moreover the inventors have additionally introduced mutation leading to the abrogation of the N-glycosylation site on the E protein which will prevent the generation of auto-antibodies responsible for Guillain-Barre syndrome. The inventors have produced additional mutations of the virus that result to a dramatic reduction of the cytopathic effects without affecting the capacity to produce high titers of virus. In particular the present invention relates to a genomic sequence characterized by the sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 wherein at least one site of fixation for miR-4279 is restored.

  • Patent number: 9061795
Abstract: A container having a curved bottom and base cup which allows the container to stand upright. The container and base cup are fitted together by a mechanical engagement having portions on the container and base cup. The mechanical engagement of the container is disposed within the bottom cone of the container. The mechanical engagement of the base cup is cantilevered from the bottom of the base cup. Such disposition reduces stress at the interface between the side wall of the container and edge of the base, providing for a smoother transition and better appearance. Also, this disposition provides resistance to separation of the container and base cup during drop impact. The bottom of the container may be curved and have a well therein for receiving the contents of the container and a dip tube.

  • Patent number: 8627986
Abstract: A device for spraying contents from a pressurized container. The device has an anti-pre-spray mechanism which prevents inadvertent actuation or spray when a new container is loaded into the device. The anti-pre-spray mechanism provides a dead band between a valve assembly in the pressurized container and an actuation mechanism. The dead band may comprise a gap, spring, etc. The actuation mechanism may be activated by the consumer at the point of use.
