  • Patent number: 12338149
Abstract: A salt-level sensor for a water softener salt reservoir (aka brine tank) may comprise a laser distance detector or ultrasonic distance detector, a processor, a wi-fi module, a power module, a memory module, a housing, and a mounting assembly. The salt-level sensor may be configured to be mounted to the underside of the lid of a salt reservoir, with the distance detector directed away from the lid location. The mounting assembly may comprise one or more threaded elements and complementary nut(s), and may additionally comprise an orientation adjustment mechanism. A method for measuring the salt level in a salt reservoir may comprise installing the salt-level sensor on the underside of the lid; emitting a signal toward to salt; receiving a return signal; and, based on the time between emitting and receiving the signal, determining a distance to the salt.

  • Publication number: 20250182357
Abstract: In a digital image annotation and retrieval system, a machine learning model identifies an image feature in an image and generates a plurality of question prompts for the feature. For a particular feature, a feature annotation is generated, which can include capturing a narrative, determining a plurality of narrative units, and mapping a particular narrative unit to the identified image feature. An enriched image is generated using the generated feature annotation. The enriched image includes searchable metadata comprising the feature annotation and the plurality of question prompts.

  • Publication number: 20250063239
Abstract: Example systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are directed to an AI-assisted interview system that provides real-time analysis and suggestions during video and audio interviews. The system can analyze questions, response text, audio, and video in real-time and suggest follow-up topics and questions. Suggested topics and questions can optimize for breadth by sampling under-sampled semantic regions and/or depth by identifying related questions. The system can provide clarification suggestions for ambiguous responses and measure quality metrics for questions and answers.

  • Publication number: 20240291814
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for establishing a secure communication link between a first client and a second client. One exemplary computer-implemented method for establishing a secure communication link between a first diem and a second client includes accessing, from a storage, identification information of a user of the first client. The method further includes receiving a Domain Name Service (DNS) request from the first client requesting a secure network address corresponding to a secure domain name associated with the second client. The method further includes authenticating the user based on the user identification information. The method also includes transmitting the secure computer network address in response to the DNS request based on a determination that the user has been authenticated. A secure communication link between the first diem and the second client is established based on the secure computer network address.

  • Patent number: 11997126
Abstract: Dynamic Software Defined Networking (DSDN) systems and methods provide secure and isolated subnetworks within a larger network. Each subnetwork may be formed with varied policies and communication restrictions based on at least device type, device grouping, and risk level. The DSDN systems and methods may also be applied to form a network, with or without subnetworks, of devices that are spatially separated, thereby reducing the attack surface of the DSDN-formed network.

  • Publication number: 20240110319
Abstract: A washing machine appliance includes a wash basket that is rotatably mounted within a wash tub and that defines a wash chamber for receiving a load of clothes. A motor assembly is mechanically coupled to the wash basket for selectively rotating the wash basket and a turbidity sensor is positioned within the wash fluid. A controller is configured to perform a wash cycle, obtain a turbidity of the wash fluid following the wash cycle using the turbidity sensor, determine rinse parameters of a rinse cycle based at least in part on the turbidity of the wash fluid, and perform the rinse cycle in accordance with the rinse parameters.
