  • Patent number: 11932311
Abstract: A vehicle assembly includes a cargo bed having a first and a second sidewall. A rail assembly is disposed on the first sidewall. The rail assembly is movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the first sidewall. An actuator system raises and lowers the rail assembly to move the rail assembly between the extended position and the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20150185224
Abstract: Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) administration plays a central role in managing carcinoma in situ of the bladder. Unfortunately, recurrence or progression of disease is seen in up to 30% of treated patients. Disclosed herein is a method for predicting responsiveness to treatment with BCG based on BCG internalization by bladder cancer cells, the presence or absence of mutations associated with BCG uptake or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20130220818
Abstract: One embodiment is for the close agitation of electroplating solution substantially near an electrode in an electroplating cell. The agitation occurs within the Nernst diffusion layer allowing for ion replenishment of the electroplating solution at the working electrode face. The system operates by producing a flat agitation face (180) and a working electrode (350) face that are brought to within 10 microns of one another during the plating process whilst the agitator 380 is being actuated. In one embodiment, the working electrode is rigid such as a semiconductor wafer. In another embodiment, the working electrode is a flexible material (600) such as fabric or flexible electronics. Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Publication number: 20120211773
Abstract: A circuit comprising an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs), and a layer of VSD material positioned to contact an input and an output of each LED in the array of LEDs, so as to protect each LED from both a forward surge and a reverse surge of voltage on the array of LEDs. The layer of VSD material is able to switch into a carrying current state in response to either of the forward or reverse surge exceeding a characteristic voltage level (VCL) of the VSD material.

  • Patent number: 4290645
Abstract: A stacking chair comprising a seat supported by a frame which includes a pair of splayed rear legs supporting the seat near its rear, the rear portion of the seat decreasing in width towards the rear, and the width at the front of the rear portion being greater than the separation of the rear legs adjacent their upper ends and the width of the rear portion at the back being equal to or less than the separation of the rear legs adjacent their upper ends.
