  • Patent number: 10809885
Abstract: Systems and methods to provide composite fault maps. A first event report is received from a system indicating a first set of location probability distributions of a first event. A second event report is received from a second system that is a different type than the first system indicating a second set of location probability distributions of a second event that is different from the first event. Based upon data in the received reports, the first event is determined to be associated with the second event. A composite fault map is determined that includes composite location likelihood values for the first event and the second event, the composite fault map being determined based on assembling the first set of location probability distributions and the second set of location probability distributions. The the composite fault map is provided to a different process.

  • Publication number: 20200284850
Abstract: Various embodiments are described that relate an electrical current connector. The electrical current connector can be configured to provide electrical current when pressure is applied to a prong set. This pressure can cause a contact to engage with a connector. This can complete a circuit that allows the electrical current to flow. The connector can be coupled to a cable that can be configured to transfer data along with the electrical current. The cable can have an inner portion that transfers the data while an outer portion that surrounds the inner portion transfers the current.

  • Patent number: 10711480
Abstract: A device is disclosed for facilitating the anchoring of a structure to a medium. For example, the disclosed device may facilitate anchoring an umbrella assembly into sand. The device is operable to inject a liquefying fluid into a medium upon a downstroke so as to facilitate liquefication within an area of the medium. The structure is then inserted into the area of the medium where liquefication has occurred by creating a vacuum within the structure, upon an upstroke, which facilitates the insertion operation. For example, a stand structure for holding the umbrella assembly may be inserted into the sand using the techniques herein. The medium displaced by the insertion operation has the geometrical contours of the structure such that the structure easily slides into the medium. The vacuum draws a portion of the medium into the structure and creates a seal that facilitates compacting of the medium and provides a superior anchoring strength.

  • Publication number: 20200181932
Abstract: A device is disclosed for facilitating the anchoring and release of a structure to a medium, such as sand. The device is operable to inject a liquefying fluid into a medium upon a down stroke so as to facilitate liquefication within an area of the medium. The structure is simultaneously inserted into the area of the medium where liquefication has occurred by creating a vacuum within the structure, upon an upstroke, which facilitates the insertion operation. The distal end of the structure to be anchored is fitted with at least one protrusion for increasing the holding force of the medium. If desired, the distal end of the structure is also fitted with at least one fin operable under selective control of a user for reducing the holding force on the structure. In one embodiment, the user, when desiring to release the structure, rotates the structure, thereby rotating the fin.

  • Publication number: 20200097141
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for unifying graphical user interface (GUI) displays across different device types. In an embodiment, a unification system may convert various GUI view appearing on, for example, a desktop device into a GUI view on a mobile device. Both devices may be accessing the same application and/or may use a cloud computing platform to access the application. The unification system may aid in reproducing GUI modifications performed on one user device onto other user devices. In this manner, the unification system may maintain a consistent look-and-feel for a user across different computing device type.

  • Publication number: 20200097161
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for configuring components in a display template based on a user interface type are described. A template customization application may support configuration of a display template corresponding to multiple user interface types. A user may customize the display template by adding a component to the display template (e.g., where the display template is displayed by the template customization application according to a specific user interface type view). The template customization application may determine whether the added component supports rendering for the current user interface type and may display the component in the template based on the determination (e.g., either as a functional component or as a placeholder). Each user interface type supported by the template may be defined in a single underlying metadata file, so adding the component into one view will automatically add the component for all of the supported the user interface types.

  • Patent number: 10489019
Abstract: Systems and methods to determine events that are associated with one another. Reports of a first, second, and third events are received. Based upon data associated with the first and second event, a determination is made that the first event is associated with the second event. Based upon data associated with the first event and the third event, a determination is made that the first event is not associated with the third event. A presentation is created indicating that the first and second events are related to the second event and that the first and third events are not related. The presentation is presented to a different process.
