  • Patent number: 11916692
Abstract: A domestic appliance includes a cabinet forming a receiving space; a control panel attached to the cabinet, the control panel including one or more control inputs; a wireless transmitter provided within the control panel to emit a signal; a wireless communication module provided within the control panel, the wireless communication module establishing a wireless connection between the appliance and a remote terminal; and a controller provided within the control panel, the controller being configured to perform a series of operations. The series of operations includes emitting, via the first wireless communication module, the signal, wherein the signal contains a predetermined code to identify the domestic appliance and retrieve an input sequence for altering an operational mode of the domestic appliance.

  • Patent number: 11539530
Abstract: A remote blockchain masternode deployment system including a light client that can deploy a remote masternode without requiring the masternode owner to lose control of the funds staked at the masternode using a transaction identifier including a transaction hash and an index instead of a transfer of locked funds on the blockchain to an address controlled by a party other than the masternode owner. The masternode owner can unilaterally dismantle the masternode and recover the staked funds by spending the staked funds to another address controlled by the masternode operator. A pingless activation allows the masternode owner to “click and run” after funding the masternode without having to wait for the funding transaction to become buried before broadcasting an activation message. A staking vault performs staking functions for the owner in a way that does not allow unilateral spending of staked funds by the vault.

  • Patent number: 9248780
Abstract: There is provided an access apparatus having a deployable step that is biased to move towards a stowed position, wherein in the stowed position, the deployable step restricts opening of a vehicle's door. Abutment of a portion of the vehicle's door controls movement of the deployable step. Wherein, when said vehicle door is closed, the deployable step is arranged in a stowed position and when said vehicle door is fully open, the deployable step is arranged in the deployed position to provide a step. Here, when in the deployed position, abutment of the portion of the vehicle's door with the deployable step, prevents the deployable step from moving towards the stowed position. Consequently, and because the deployable step is biased to move towards the stowed position, the deployable step is automatically opened and closed upon opening and closing of the door.

  • Publication number: 20130067332
Abstract: A graphical user interface is output for presentation by a graphical display device. The graphical user interface includes visual aspects of a time-based media content item having a playback axis, and a seek bar having a position along the playback axis. The position of the seek bar along the playback axis indicates a current playback position of the time-based media content item. The seek bar extends perpendicular to the playback axis over the visual aspects of the time-based media content item. A drag command representing a user input directed at the seek bar is received. The drag command is characterized by a drag path. The current playback position of the time-based media content item is moved based on the drag path.

  • Publication number: 20060017609
Abstract: A method for operating a radar altimeter to perform a zero altitude calibration is described. The method includes determining a difference between an altitude measured by the radar altimeter and a desired altitude indication and upon receiving a zero calibration command, subtracting the difference from an altitude output by the radar altimeter.
