  • Patent number: 11028584
Abstract: A connection apparatus for attaching a first truss to a second truss has first and second connection segments, a bolt and an optional spring. The first connection segment has an aperture dimensioned to receive a threaded end and shank of the bolt. The aperture is also dimensioned to prevent the head end of the bolt and the threaded end from passing through. The aperture comprising a recess for receiving the second end of the spring. The first connection segment has a side opening, open to the aperture, dimensioned to receive the shank of the bolt. The first connection segment has a shoulder portion within the aperture dimensioned to closely fit around the shank and prevent the threaded end of the bolt from passing therethrough. The second connection segment for attaching to the second truss has a threaded hole dimensioned to fixably receive the threaded end of the bolt.

  • Patent number: 10875714
Abstract: Truss sections are commonly used at concerts and shows to support displays, camera, sound and lighting equipment. During transport or storage, the truss sections are stacked on top of each other. The apparatus is mountable to a cross member of a truss section. The apparatus comprises depressions on the surface. Longitudinal members (which are perpendicular to said cross member when stacked) of a second truss section can be positioned within the depressions to limit the relative movement between truss sections which are stacked.

  • Patent number: 10193888
Abstract: Systems and methods that employ dynamic credentials across distinct authentication standards can be used to reduce the burden associated with repeated re-authentication. A utility can be employed during logon in an alternate operating environment that stores information from the logon dynamically and generates a credential file that is employed to grant access to a resource without repeating the earlier logon procedure, even if the device changes its user state. After processes requiring resource access are complete, or when an allowed time expires, the granted access is revoked and the device returns to a default or standard authentication technique.

  • Patent number: 10087615
Abstract: A connection apparatus may be used to connect truss sections or other objects. A connection segment is mounted on each truss to be connected. Each of a first and second connection segment has an opening, in alignment with each other to receive a fastener. The opening of the first connection segment allows the fastener to pivot. The second connection segment has a side opening which allows the fastener to pivot inside and outside the body of the second connection segment. The fastener has a threaded end and a locking end. The locking end may be secured against an outer surface of the second connection segment. In the locked position the locking end of the fastener engages the outer surface of one the second connection segment and the fastener is prevented from rotational or axial movement. The connection segments are thus fixed relative to each other as are the truss sections on which the connection sections may be mounted.

  • Publication number: 20100194628
Abstract: Weather radar detecting systems and methods are operable to display a vertical view of intensities of turbulence regions. An exemplary embodiment has a radar operable to detect turbulence, a processing system operable to determine location and intensity of the detected turbulence, a three-dimensional (3-D) weather information database comprising of a plurality of voxels that is associated with a unique geographic location with respect to the aircraft wherein the information corresponding to the turbulence intensity is stored, and a display operable to display a vertical view of a selected vertical slice, wherein the displayed vertical view displays the determined turbulence intensity and the determined location of the turbulence.

  • Patent number: 7617160
Abstract: A method and apparatus for building relationship opportunities for event participants with similar interests before, during and after the event are disclosed. The method includes creating a profile of a first user registered for an event, the profile includes terms indicative of preferences and characteristics of the first user. The method also includes receiving an inquiry from the first user for at least one match based on at least one keyword and providing a list of matches to the user in response to the inquiry, wherein the match is a second user sharing similar interests with the first user.

  • Patent number: 7610616
Abstract: Pervasive security is provided by a combination of physical interfaces and network interfaces to a service to a user includes establishing by the user's client device network connectivity to the service, transmitting by the service an identifier to the user's client device, determining by the service whether the user enters the identifier into the service in physical proximity to the service, and invoking the service once the user has entered the identifier into the service while in physical proximity to the service. The service can provide indication that the service has been granted by sending a control page to the user's client device.

  • Publication number: 20080181215
Abstract: A method for remotely identifying an operating system comprises sending a first User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packet to a port that is not in use on a target and monitoring a response evoked by the first sent UDP packet. At least one Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) packet is sent to the target and the response evoked by the sent ICMP packet(s) monitored. A second UDP packet is sent to the port with an Internet Protocol (IP) timestamp option set in an IP header and a response evoked by the second sent UDP packet is monitored. The operating system is identified at least partially based on the responses to the first and second sent UDP packets.
