  • Publication number: 20220199220
Abstract: A device, method, medium, and system for digitally administered exercise therapy. The device, method, medium, and system may include determining information indicative of a musculoskeletal condition of a patient. The method medium and system may also include determining a likelihood that the patient will have a positive outcome to digitally-delivered exercise therapy based on the information indicative of the musculoskeletal condition of the patient. The method medium and system may also include determining the specific exercises appropriate for the patient's pain and functional ability. Further, the device, method, medium, and system may also including administering a digital exercise therapy regimen to the patient and measuring and tracking the results thereof.

  • Publication number: 20140018439
Abstract: The present invention relates to a weather-resistant pearlescent pigment which consists of a platelet-shaped substrate coated with one or more highly refractive metal oxides, the platelet-shaped substrate being selected from the group consisting of synthetic mica flakes, glass flakes, SiO2 flakes, Al2O3 flakes, synthetic boehmite flakes, BiOCl flakes and mixtures thereof, and a top layer, wherein the top layer consists of the following layers: a) a cerium-containing layer, selected from the group consisting of cerium oxide, cerium hydroxide, hydrated cerium oxide, and mixtures thereof, the cerium-containing layer being applied directly to the highly refractive metal oxide layer, and b) an organic-chemical compatibilizing layer, which comprises the reaction products of oligomeric silanes, wherein the oligomeric silanes have one or more amino groups, the organic-chemical compatibilizing layer being applied directly to the cerium-containing layer a).

  • Publication number: 20140010772
Abstract: A silver-colored pigment is provided having a nonmetallic platelet-shaped substrate and at least one ilmenite-containing coating, wherein the nonmetallic platelet-shaped substrate is a nonmetallic platelet-shaped synthetic substrate and the amount of iron compounds, calculated as elemental iron, in the pigment is less than 5.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the pigment. Processes for preparing the pigment also are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070104663
Abstract: The invention relates to effect pigments comprising an aluminium core or an aluminium alloy core, and a layer containing aluminium oxide or aluminium oxide/hydroxide surrounding the aluminium core or the aluminium alloy core. Said pigments can be obtained by wet-chemical oxidation of plate-shaped aluminium pigments or aluminium alloy pigments. According to the invention, the content of metal aluminium in the aluminium core or aluminium alloy core is not more than 90 wt. % in relation to the total weight of the pigment. The oxidised aluminium pigments or aluminium alloy pigments contain at least one highly refractive metal chalcogenide layer having a refraction index of >1.95, and a mixed layer is formed between the highly refractive metal chalcogenide layer and the enveloping layer containing aluminium oxide or aluminium oxide/hydroxide. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said effect pigments and to the use thereof.
