Patent number: 11962721Abstract: A system can route calls based on a minimum expected delay, classification, and priority of the call. In some embodiments, when a call is received, the call is classified and prioritized within the classification. A minimum expected delay time is determined. Based on the minimum expected delay time, the classification, and the prioritization, the call is routed to a representative with instructions on how the call should be treated.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Peter H. Patent number: 10496812Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the prevention and mitigation of security attacks in computer systems. Virtualization technology is provided and leveraged to prevent and mitigate exploits in the computer systems. For example, malicious code may be prevented from system execution by inhibiting the delivery of such code in a payload to system memory. In other examples, virtualization technology is leveraged to mask the computer system machine architecture. By masking or otherwise hiding the machine architecture, the delivery of payloads into memory by malicious users can be prevented. In this manner, even if exploits are identified and accessed by malicious users of code, the denial of payload delivery prevents the execution of malicious actions within the computer system.Type: GrantFiled: February 29, 2016Date of Patent: December 3, 2019Inventor: Michael Guidry

Publication number: 20160357958Abstract: A security system monitors a computer system for process events to perform verification related to the event. A thread related to an event is identified and a set of software modules of the computer system are enumerated. The thread is verified by determining whether the thread corresponds to one of the software modules. Code related to the thread is verified by loading code segments from storage into memory and comparing newly loaded code with original code segments in memory. The stack is verified by determining whether the thread matches one or more stack addresses of the stack. The execution path related to the event is verified by comparison to a set of predefined execution paths. If any of the security verifications fail, a security event is generated such as by blocking execution of code related to the event.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2016Publication date: December 8, 2016Inventor: Michael Guidry
