  • Patent number: 8718864
Abstract: A system for collecting operating data of a vehicle, including a digital tachograph that can be installed rigidly in the vehicle, and a receiver module for receiving data for controlling the tachograph. The module is removalby connected to the tachograph by way of an interface prescribed by the tachograph. At least one remote control is equipped with a transmitter for operating the tachograph the remote control being adapted to wirelessly transfer data using the receiver module.

  • Patent number: 8689323
Abstract: A method for activating functions of at least one tachograph having a control unit and an interface. The control unit is activated by a program to perform a first group of functions. First, a connection of an external storage medium to the interface of the at least one tachograph is established. The storage medium has at least one instruction for activating a function, which can be read out by the control unit. An authentication between the external storage medium and the control unit also takes place. The function associated with the at least one instruction is activated in such a way that the function is associated with the first group of the control unit. Next, the connection between the external storage medium and the interface of the at least one tachograph is released.

  • Patent number: 8606217
Abstract: A communication control unit for transmitting data via a transmission pathway between a tachograph and a data processing facility. The transmission pathway contains at least one partial section for a wireless transmission. The communication control unit comprises a GSM module and/or a module for wireless data transmission with the data processing device. A system, which additionally contains a tachograph and a data processing facility. The tachograph and a communication control unit associated therewith are disposed in a vehicle and said data processing facility is disposed outside said vehicle. Using the communication control unit, a method for transmitting data via a transmission pathway between a tachograph and a data processing facility is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20110137517
Abstract: A method and system for indicating a discrepancy between driving data captured using a tachograph and at least one prescribed rule by an indicator appliance independent of the tachograph. The indicator appliance is connected to a tachograph data memory that has the driving data. By virtue of detachable electromechanical coupling of the indicator appliance to the tachograph data memory that is automatically followed by at least one driving data volume element being loaded into an appliance data memory of the indicator appliance and automatically compared with at least one rule. The presence of a discrepancy between the loaded driving data volume element and the rule prompts the presence of the discrepancy to be transmitted to a user of the indicator appliance as a violation report.

  • Patent number: 5372425
Abstract: A shaker apparatus having a platform for carrying a load, a supporting base disposed beneath said platform, drive means carried by the base and operatively connected with the platform to provide horizontal shaking of the platform in an orbital motion with respect to the base, eccentric idler devices connecting the base to the platform for maintaining the platform in a substantially planar orbit substantially parallel to the base during the horizontal shaking of the platform and to eliminate backlash, and alignment elements associated with the eccentric idler devices to prevent the transmission of rigid, non-yielding force loadings between the platform and the base through one of the eccentric idler devices when the force loadings are generated at another of the eccentric idler devices or by the drive means. A second embodiment includes alignment and support structure to prevent transmission of rigid, non-yielding force loadings and to support the platform.
