  • Publication number: 20260158514
Abstract: An apparatus for in-situ application of an engineering coating to components has a head section for applying the engineering coating and a multi-part body section for controlling the application process. The body section has a first body member, a second body member, and a third body member interconnected with each other. The first body member has a pre-determined pathway that guides movement and is connected to the head section. The second body member is engaged with the first body member and has at least one hollow channel. The third body member houses an actuator, an engagement pin for connecting with the pathway, and at least one coupling member for interacting with the at least one hollow channel. The actuator ensures precise movement of the head section. The apparatus has one or more gas channels to provide necessary gases to the head section.

  • Publication number: 20060011566
Abstract: A lacrosse stick holder mounts on a vertical surface and serves as complete storage system for the stick, horizontally or vertically, and other equipment. The holder has a base or mounting plate, and one or more forked projections. The forked projections define a notch or slot that receives the shaft of the lacrosse stick, and may be formed of spring-loaded jaws that spread to allow the shaft to pass and close over the shaft to secure it removably in place. A hook or hooks are provided on the base plate for attaching a sports bag, gloves, pads or other ancillary equipment. Spacers permit a series of these holders to be attached in a row for storing multiple sticks.

  • Publication number: 20050029394
Abstract: A conformal air defense (CAD) system is provided which is adapted to be attached externally to an aircraft as an appendage. The CAD system includes a conformal mounting adapter having an aircraft-to-adapter interface and upper adapter side. A mounting structure is provided which has an adapter interface and a mounting side, wherein the adapter interface is attached to the upper adapter side. A missile countermeasures system is mounted on the mounting side of the mounting structure. And a cover substantially encloses the countermeasures system, wherein the cover is removably fastened to the mounting side of the mounting structure.

  • Publication number: 20050008455
Abstract: There is described an expanding blind rivet assembly having a flange (3) provided with an undercut surface facing the rivet shank. A resilient cap (20) is formed with a cavity (22) having an opening surrounded by an undercut surface (23) within the cavity, so that the cap may be snap-engaged over the flange of the rivet after setting. The cap provides abrasion and corrosion protection for the flange. The cap (20) may also be provided with securing means for securing a further component to the cap (20).

  • Patent number: 5946193
Abstract: A circuit board enclosure for housing a plurality of circuit boards has a polymer casing having upper and lower openings and an interior. The circuit board enclosure also has upper and lower heat conductive pieces formed of a metal and fitting respectively within the upper and lower openings in the casing, in a water tight sealed relationship with the casing. The upper and lower heat conductive pieces have heat transfer fins protruding from the openings in the casing. The upper and lower heat conductive pieces have an interior side facing the interior of the enclosure. The interior sides have guide grooves to receive opposing sides of the circuit board. The guide grooves of the upper and lower heat conductive pieces are substantially parallel. The polymer casing may be formed of polycarbonate. The upper and lower heat conductive pieces may be formed of aluminum.
