  • Patent number: 4440490
Abstract: A combined masking frame and photographic sheet material container comprises an elongated flat compartment for storing photographic sheet material and which has a side opening for removing sheets therefrom; the container has a top panel which has a rectangular recess therein having a planar light-reflecting surface and being of a shape to accomodate the sheets stored in the compartment. The container has hingedly attached thereto a lid which, in closed position, covers the top panel; the lid has along a front side an angular flange which when the lid is closed covers in a light-tight manner the side opening in the container, there being present in the lid a rectangular aperture of an area slightly smaller than the area of the recess so as to form a mask around the edge of a sheet in position in the recess.

  • Patent number: 4428658
Abstract: A film cassette unloading and film processing device comprises a light-sealable container having means to hold a film cassette in such a manner that a length of film can be withdrawn therefrom, together with a film cutting means. A lid member of a processing tank of the film-holding spiral type, is rotatably but detachably mounted in a light-tight manner in one side of the container, the spiral being attached to the lid member and so located in the container that the film from a cassette can be wound thereon. On the opposite side of the container there is located a tank-completing base member which, together with the lid member and the spiral, forms a processing tank of the film-holding spiral type.

  • Patent number: 4239386
Abstract: For printing transparencies frames are used which, either by means of their framework or of the borders of transparencies mounted thereon, mask areas which are greater than those of the transparencies. A first frame loaded with a first set of mounted transparencies is placed over a sheet of print material and a first exposure is made. The first frame is removed and a second frame loaded with a second set of mounted transparencies is placed over the same sheet of print material in such a position that the transparencies mounted thereon are in alignement with those areas which were masked previously by the first frame. Then a second exposure is made.
