Patent number: 12269664Abstract: A container assembly includes a container, a flow channel, and a suction assembly. The container defines a cavity configured to receive a fluid therein. The container includes an interior surface along the cavity and an exterior surface outside of the cavity. The interior surface defines a lower hole, and the exterior surface defines an upper hole that is disposed closer than the lower hole to a top of the container. The flow channel extends from the lower hole to the upper hole and is disposed within a thickness of one or more wall sections of the container. The suction assembly is attached to the lower hole and fluidly connected to the flow channel. The suction assembly includes a strainer disposed within the cavity of the container for suctioning the fluid from the container.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: SHAPIRO SALES COMPANYInventors: Steven Mitchell, Ron Fleetwood, Michael Hadley, Ricky Alvarez

Patent number: 12218944Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to group travel between artificial reality (XR) destinations. Currently, users in an artificial reality (XR) experience cannot travel with a group to a specific destination or between destinations (e.g., to and from virtual worlds, levels, applications, etc.). Thus, some implementations assign users within a group in a multiplayer XR experience (e.g., a virtual lobby) a same session identifier. When the users select a destination, some implementations can provide a computing system hosting the destination with the session identifier associated with the users, such that the hosting computing system can ensure that the users travel to the same instance of the destination together. If a user does not already have the destination installed, some implementations can allow the user to acquire access rights to the destination, then travel to the same instance of the destination as the other users.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2022Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: Meta Platform Technologies, LLCInventors: Michael Hadley, Danyang Zhao, Patrick McGartoll, Nicolas Sleiman Machado

Publication number: 20050222215Abstract: The present invention concerns the compounds having the formula (I), N-oxides, salt, stereoisomeric forms, racemic mixtures, prodrugs, esters and metabolites thereof, wherein Haryl is an aromatic monocyclic, bicyclic or tricyclic heterocycle having 3 to 14 ring members which contains one or more heteroatom ring members selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur and which may optionally be substituted on (i) one or more carbon atoms by C1-6alkyl, halogen, hydroxy, optionally mono- or disubstituted amino, nitro, cyano, haloC1-6alkyl, carboxyl, C3-7cycloalkyl, optionally mono- or disubstituted aminocarbonyl, methylthio, methylsulfonyl, aryl, (R7a)n-M-R7b, Het1 and Het2; whereby the optional substituents on any amino function are independently selected from R5 and -A-R6; and on (ii) a nitrogen atom if present by hydroxy or -A-R6. It further relates to their use as broadspectrum HIV protease inhibitors, processes for their preparation as well as pharmaceutical compositions and diagnostic kits comprising them.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2002Publication date: October 6, 2005Inventors: Steven Coulton, Michael Hadley, Hugh Herdon, Jian Jin, Graham Joiner, Roderick Porter, Shahzad Rahman

Patent number: 6519945Abstract: A nitrogen compressor in an IGCC (integrated gasification, combined cycle) system provides gaseous nitrogen to be directly injected into the combustor of a gas turbine in the IGCC. The nitrogen is injected at substantially the same pressure as the output pressure from the nitrogen compressor. The compressor is controlled to adjust the output pressure of the nitrogen to match a nitrogen injection pressure for the combustor. By controlling the flow (pressure) of the nitrogen injected to a combustor of a gas turbine at the nitrogen compressor, the compressor is relieved of having to overcome the pressure loss through the nitrogen injection valves (which valves are run at or near full open throughout the operation of the nitrogen injection process), and does not need to provide nitrogen at a pressure substantially greater than the nitrogen pressure injected into the combustor.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2002Date of Patent: February 18, 2003Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Malath Ibrahim Arar, Jonathon Michael Hadley
