  • Publication number: 20230125644
Abstract: A delivery device for administering a drug includes a housing, a reservoir and a drive device with a movable piston rod. The piston rod is guided through an aperture in an inner or outer wall of the housing. The aperture is sealed but allows the piston rod to move. The shape of the circumference of the cross-section of the piston rod is approximately a non-trivial curve of constant width.

  • Publication number: 20220062537
Abstract: A module for a drug delivery device includes a first housing portion with a bearing element for supporting a neck or head portion of a first end of a reservoir and a second housing portion with an elastic contact element for supporting a second end of the reservoir opposite the first end. The first and second housing portions are configured to couple to each other in an assembled state in which the first and second housing portions form a cavity for accommodating the reservoir. The bearing element and the elastic contact element may each define a limiter or limiting structure of the cavity in a longitudinal direction of the cavity to secure or hold the reservoir free of play within the cavity. The elastic contact element may be is injection molded onto a surface of a body of the second housing portion.
