Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for the provision of data for transmission and/or storage, the transmission and storage of data, and, more particularly, to data coding for transmission and/or storage and to decoding of received and/or accessed or retrieved coded data. In an embodiment of the invention, data is assembled into coded data structures comprising a plurality of fields that, e.g., may contain actual or implied field values, and data associated therewith that relates to the plurality of fields. Encoding and decoding of the data may take place with reference to one or more associated data models, and a coded data structure according to this embodiment may contain content only (field values and data identifying the structure). This allows for a reduction in size of the data structure as compared to, e.g., a data structure comprising program code or all data needed to describe the data in the data structure.

Abstract: A remote-controlled locator light apparatus includes a battery—powered portable transmitter unit for transmitting an activation signal. A battery—powered portable remote-controlled locator light unit receives the activation signal and is activated by the activation signal to emit a visible light signal. A strap assembly is provided for suspending the portable remote-controlled locator light unit from an object, such as a branch of a tree on which a tree stand is installed. The transmitter unit transmits an electromagnetic activation signal, and the remote-controlled locator light unit receives the electromagnetic activation signal and is activated thereby. In the portable remote-controlled locator light unit, a receiver assembly causes a signal driver assembly to drive or illuminate a light source. A housing includes transparent light source covers adjacent to the light source and substantially surrounding the light source for allowing light rays emitted from the light source to pass therethrough.

Abstract: A parking brake control assembly for a motor vehicle is provided which includes a housing, a movable actuator disposed in the housing which is operable to apply or release parking brakes, and an actuator spring pivotably mounted in the housing. The actuator spring pivots in response to the movement of the movable actuator. A portion of the actuator spring is biased to a first position by a predetermined force, and if the force applied on the portion exceeds the predetermined force, the portion moves to a second position. The housing also houses a switch actuatable by movement of the movable actuator for indicating desired position of the parking brakes, and a piston in fluid communication with a source of fluid. The piston is positioned adjacent the portion of the actuator spring, and the piston is movable by the pivoting movement of the actuator spring to cause fluid to be ejected such that the ejected fluid indicates desired position of the parking brakes.

Abstract: An all purpose device for cleaning dental implant posts is disclosed. The device is provided with a brush angled and sized to effectively reach the rear of the implant posts, as well as the lingual side of the implant posts. In certain embodiments, a second brush which is a conventional toothbrush head is added to the end opposite the smaller implant post brush.
