  • Patent number: 7880584
Abstract: An access device is provided for a system that has a plurality of locks that are each configured to receive instructions and to energize a lock mechanism to unlock the lock and a computer that is disposed at a remote location from the locks and that is connected to a primary wireless communication path. The access device includes at least one key configured for communicating with the computer via the primary wireless communication path and to communicate with the locks over a secondary wireless path. The at least one key is also configured to send a predefined text message for receipt by the computer and wherein the predefined text message provides an indication to the computer as to at least one other key whereto the predefined text message is to be sent.

  • Publication number: 20050149920
Abstract: A software application includes a document generator. A user can download from an upgrade website documentation (e.g., release notes) describing the differences in operation between a post-upgrade version of the application that would result if a target upgrade is implemented and a pre-upgrade version of the application, e.g., the one available on the user computer system. The document generator can generate full documentation for the post-upgrade version from the pre-upgrade documentation and the upgrade documentation. The post-upgrade documentation has a revision display mode and a non-revision display mode, the former showing the changes from the operation of the pre-upgrade version to the operation of the post-upgrade version.

  • Publication number: 20040254832
Abstract: A multi-tier computer application that utilizes a web browser and a web server. The computer application includes a browser plug-in that runs simultaneously with the web browser and receives URL information from the web browser. This plug-in then sends requests and receives responses from the web server. A central database and a plug-in server run on the web server. A web site also runs on the web server. Web related information and user information is sent as a request from the browser plug-in to the web server and then routed through the web server to the plug-in server. The plug-in server then queries for feedback in the central database relating to the request. Feedback results are transmitted from the plug-in server through the web server to the browser plug-in and a visualization is transmitted from the browser plug-in to the web browser.
