Abstract: The present invention relates to a base plate for a rail fastening point, in which a rail for a rail vehicle is fastened on a substrate. The base plate includes a main body with a rib structure, which from the underside assigned to the substrate is formed into the main body of the base plate and is formed by ribs and by recesses which surround the ribs and are open to the underside, and to a rail fastening point. The base plate for a rail fastening point can be manufactured in a simple, cost-effective manner and makes it possible to avoid by simple means pressing into a soft substrate. This is achieved in that the base plate additionally includes a cover fastened to the base plate after the manufacture of the main body, which covers the rib structure on the underside of the main body at least in sections.

The plastic dowel includes an opening, and interior, a shank section, and a holding section, which provides at least one circumferential projection around its circumference. The at least one projection protrudes in a radial direction whereby the upper flank of the projection of the holding section assigned to the dowel opening is aligned at an angle of 90°±3° in relation to a longitudinal axis of the plastic dowel.

Abstract: The invention provides a system for fastening a rail in place and a rail fastener which, while being simple to install, allow a large measure of freedom in the production of the components required and at the same time have great practical utility. To this end a system according to the invention for fastening a rail to a fixed bottom support comprises: a base plate produced from a plastics material, an intermediate layer which is arranged between the base plate and the fixed bottom support, a carrier plate which is arranged between the intermediate layer and the bottom support, a resilient member to hold down the rail which is to be fastened in place, a clamping bolt to brace the resilient member against the base plate, and a fastening member for fastening the base plate to the fixed bottom support.
