  • Publication number: 20250126582
Abstract: Described is synchronization of radio units (RUs) with a reference time and frequency using a reference radio unit (reference RU) without the need for boundary-clock-based synchronization. A synchronized RU transmits a reference signal that is received at the reference RU and used to evaluate its time and frequency. A processing unit coupled to the reference RU evaluates waveform sample data, corresponding to the received signal, with reference waveform data and returns feedback, e.g., frequency error data, time error data, and quality information. The frequency error data and time error data are used to synchronize the RU. Messages between the DU and RU (e.g., via a fronthaul interface) indicate signal start time, stop time and frequency for transmitting by the RU, and for the RU to correct its time and frequency based on the error data. Messaging between the DU and the processing unit coordinates the reference waveform data for evaluation.

  • Publication number: 20230246453
Abstract: A method of adjusting energy delivered by a renewable energy system to an electrical grid and an energy-consuming load is disclosed. The method may comprise determining a production schedule of a renewable energy system (RES) and establishing a prioritization order between the electrical grid and the energy-consuming load. The method may further comprise setting a power receiving threshold for the electrical grid or the energy-consuming load based on the prioritization order, and adjusting the energy delivered by the RES by controlling a first amount of energy delivered to the electrical grid and a second amount of energy delivered to the energy-consuming load. A variability schedule of at least one of the first amount of energy or the second amount of energy can be amplified or dampened over a time period relative to the natural variability energy production schedule of the RES.

  • Patent number: 11481158
Abstract: Various embodiments are provided for enabling data compression in a computing system by a processor. Each storage block of a storage device associated with a queue may be split. Compression of data may be activated upon data occupancy within a queue exceeding a dynamic threshold. In one aspect, only a partial amount of the data is fetched, back to back, from a divided storage block in the storage block according to the queue based upon the data occupancy within the queue exceeding the dynamic threshold. A complete amount of the data may be fetched from the divided storage block in a storage block according to the queue upon the data occupancy within the queue being less than dynamic threshold.

  • Patent number: 10593314
Abstract: A distortion device includes a transconductance stage, a current amplifier stage electrically coupled to the transconductance stage, and a transformer portion electrically coupled to the current amplifier stage. The transconductance stage includes a first capacitor to provide a ground to a resistor, and voltage across the resistor develops a current through a second capacitor to the current amplifier stage. The current amplifier stage includes a positive half cycle and a negative half cycle. The positive half cycle and the negative half cycle amplify the current from the transconductance stage and supply the amplified current to a primary winding of a transformer in the transformer portion, and the output of the transformer portion includes a low-level signal.
