Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition containing anionic, amphoteric, cationic or non-ionic stable high solid polymeric emulsions wherein the solids content is equal to or greater then 35%, the emulsion particle size is less than or equal to 0.5 microns and the surfactant level ranges from 2 to 9 percent.

Abstract: An isolated polynucleotide which codes for a domain of a transcription factor, where the domain confers to the transcription factor susceptibility to degredation under normoxia conditions. Also provided is a chimeric transactivator containing such a domain and to polynucleotides and vectors which code for the same. A method of expressing a target gene in a subject invloving the use of such a chimeric transactivator is also provided. In particular, such a method can be used to increase the number of red blood cells or blood vessels in the subject.

Abstract: Paper is made by a dual soluble polymer process in which a cellulosic suspension which usually contains alum or cationic coagulant is first flocculated with a high IV cationic synthetic polymer or cationic starch and, after shearing, the suspension is reflocculated by the addition of a branched anionic water soluble polymer having IV above 3 dl/g and tan delta at 0.005 Hz of at least 0.5. The process gives an improved combination of formation, retention and drainage.
