  • Publication number: 20240105045
Abstract: A system and a process enable a workplace (A.1, A.2) to be monitored remotely. A monitoring unit for the workplace includes a camera (2.1, 2.2, 2.3), a gas measuring device (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) and a workplace computer (3.1, 3.2). A communication unit (10) communicates with a control center with a central output computer and an output unit. Signals from the camera and the gas measuring device are transmitted by cable or wirelessly to the workplace computer and from there further transmitted by cable or wirelessly to the communication unit. The signals are transmitted wirelessly from the communication unit to the central output computer. The central output computer causes the received signals to be output on the output unit in a form that can be perceived by a human. The data connection between the communication unit and the central output computer may be routed via a public mobile radio network.

  • Patent number: 11341395
Abstract: A device for determining a spindle status of a spindle of a machine tool includes a detector for detecting sensor data of the spindle for a defined time window. A processing unit analyses the sensor data through artificial intelligence by calculating a defined feature of the sensor data for the defined time window and determining a spindle status from the sensor data. An output member outputs the determined spindle status.

  • Publication number: 20070182131
Abstract: The invention relates to a housing (5) for an airbag device (4) on a motor vehicle, with a hollow space for acceptance of a container (8) of a gas generator (9) and an airbag (12), whereby the housing (5) includes a main structure and a housing cover which is connected to it and which faces the vehicle occupants when installed, on whose inner side at least one material weakness is formed, which can tear open if airbag (12) unfolds in order to retain the vehicle occupants. To improve the outer appearance of such a housing (5) it is provided that material weaknesses (16, 17) are so slight that they are not visible from the side of housing cover (6) facing the passenger compartment, and that housing cover (6) is also connected with basic housing structure (27) by means of at least one perforation (13).

  • Publication number: 20050008274
Abstract: A pair of parts rotatable relative to each other about an axis are relatively supported by a roller bearing having a radially directed and angularly extending annular track unitarily formed on one of the parts and centered on the axis. The other of the parts is formed with a groove open toward the track and holding a track ring centered on the axis and formed with an annular track radially confronting the track of the one part and a cushion ring supporting the track ring in the groove on the other of the parts. An annular array of roller elements is provided between and engaging both of the tracks.

  • Patent number: 6378902
Abstract: A knee area protection apparatus for the protection of a vehicle occupant is provided which includes a deployment guiding plate and a support plate each having a top transverse edge, a bottom transverse edge, and side edges. The support plate is securable to the vehicle in a lower area of a seat compartment thereof. The knee area protection apparatus also includes retaining bands to retain and guide an air bag sack as it is deployed as well as to retain and guide the deployment guiding plate, which is moved by the deployment of the air bag sack.

  • Patent number: 4797008
Abstract: A bearing utilizing a plurality of wires has the races for the roller bodies provides individual lining strips between each wire and the groove walls of the receiving structural members of the bearing. These lining strips are braced in two mutually perpendicular directions against two mutually perpendicular countersurfaces of the grooves and a yieldable connection can be provided between the pair of lining strips in one or both of the grooves so that the bearing prestress and play can be adjusted.
