  • Publication number: 20050252508
Abstract: 1. Dosing device with electromechanical interface. 2.1 A dosing device is known with an electrically driven delivery means for at least one medium, a medium reservoir for storing the medium and an applicator for dispensing the medium, and with a control unit for acting on the delivery means and an electrical energy store for powering the control unit and/or the delivery means. 2.2 According to the invention, the delivery means, medium reservoir and applicator, on the one hand, and the control unit and electrical energy store, on the other, are accommodated respectively in separate structural units, and guide means are provided for fitting the structural units one into the other, said guide means having an electromechanical interface for coupling and/or uncoupling relative to the control unit and/or energy store without using tools. 2.3 Use for dispensing of medium.

  • Publication number: 20050207917
Abstract: A microdosing device includes dosing chamber which at least temporarily receives a quantity of liquid, and to which at least one dispensing opening is assigned. A vibration unit is operatively connected to at least one boundary surface of the dosing chamber in order to cause this boundary surface to oscillate for the purpose of a dispensing operation. At least two admission channels spaced apart from one another are provided on the dosing chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050201870
Abstract: A dosing device for dispensing a medium into an environment is disclosed, with a dosing space which is formed by contiguous wall portions and is substantially closed off from an environment; with at least one inlet which passes through at least one wall portion for a communicating connection between the dosing space and a medium reservoir, with a dosing aperture arrangement which passes through at least one wall portion for a communicating connection between the dosing space and the environment, and with at least one vibration means which is fitted on at least one wall portion and which is provided to cause oscillation of at least one wall portion of the dosing space. The dosing aperture arrangement is designed as a separate component and is integrated in a wall portion.

  • Patent number: 6772915
Abstract: Such dispensers must be easy to grasp or operate by a user, e.g. a user suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and whose capacity to manipulate objects is under certain circumstances limited. In addition, the dispenser must have a simple, inexpensive construction from a minimum number of components. The dispenser is used for the discharge of media, particularly fluids, e.g. a liquid, which preferably contain a pharmaceutical substance, as described in exemplified manner hereinbefore. In the case of the dispenser, the medium is discharged in at least two proportioned partial charges by actuating an actuating means. As a result of the actuation of the actuating means, a relative movement is produced between the actuating means and a housing having a dispenser discharge opening. According to the invention an elastically deformable material bridge is provided. The actuating means is held on the housing by means of the elastically deformable material bridge.
