  • Publication number: 20240112019
Abstract: A system includes a processor in communication with one or more sensors. The processor is programmed to receiving, from the one or more sensors, vibrational information and sound information associated with the vibrational information from a test device, generating a training data set utilizing at least the vibrational data and the sound information associated with the vibrational data, wherein the training data set is sent to a machine learning model configured to output sound predictions, receiving real-time vibrational data from a run-time device running an actuator or electric dive emitting the real-time vibrational data, and based on the machine learning model and the real-time vibrational data, output a sound prediction indicating a purported sound emitted from the run-time device.

  • Publication number: 20240110825
Abstract: A system includes a processor, wherein the processor is programmed to receive sound information and vibrational information from a device in a first environment, generate a training data set utilizing at least the vibrational information and a sound perception score associated with the corresponding sound of the vibrational information, wherein the training data set is fed into an un-trained machine learning model, in response to meeting a convergence threshold of the un-trained machine learning model, outputting a trained machine learning model, receive real-time vibrational information from the device in a second environment, and based on the real-time vibrational information as an input to the trained machine learning model, output a real-time sound perception score indicating characteristics associated with sound emitted from the device.

  • Patent number: 11920411
Abstract: A drive unit of a top drive system includes a drive stem having a plurality of ports from an exterior thereof to an interior thereof. A plurality of sliding coupling members is disposed in the ports. A coupling collar encircles the drive stem and has actuation surfaces and recessed surfaces on an interior thereof, wherein the recessed surfaces align with the ports when the coupling collar is in a first position, and the actuation surfaces align with the ports when the coupling collar is in a second position.

  • Publication number: 20240070449
Abstract: A method includes, in response to at least one convergence criterion not being met: receiving a labeled dataset that includes a plurality of labeled samples; receiving an unlabeled dataset that includes a plurality of unlabeled samples; identifying a plurality of labeled-unlabeled sample pairs; applying a data augmentation transformation to each labeled sample and each corresponding unlabeled sample; computing, for each least one labeled-unlabeled sample pair, latent representation spaces using the machine learning model; generating, using the machine learning model, a label prediction for each unlabeled sample for each labeled-unlabeled sample pair; computing a loss function for each labeled-unlabeled sample pair of the plurality of labeled-unlabeled sample pairs based on respective latency representation spaces and respective label predictions; applying an optimization function to each respective loss function; and updating a weight value for each labeled-unlabeled sample pair of the plurality of labeled-un

  • Publication number: 20150184655
Abstract: Melt pumps for pressing synthetic melt through a tool are disclosed. An example melt pump for building up pressure for pressing synthetic melt through a tool includes a compressor with two worm conveyors disposed in a housing, a transmission by means of which the worm conveyors are synchronously drivable, and a drive, where the transmission is disposed between the drive and the compressor. In the example melt pump, each worm conveyor in the transmission has an output shaft, and each worm conveyor is coupled to the corresponding output shaft by a coupling. In the example melt pump, the coupling comprises an output gear provided on the output shaft, and a drive gear provided on the worm conveyor and a coupling sleeve gripping the output gear and the drive gear, where the drive gear and the output gear have a different number of teeth.

  • Publication number: 20150086669
Abstract: Melt pumps for producing synthetic granules, extruded profiles or molded parts are disclosed. One disclosed example apparatus includes a worm machine to move synthetic melt, a tool for producing granules, an extruded profile or a molded part, and a melt pump separate from the worm machine, where the melt pump is to press synthetic melt through the tool, and where the worm machine transfers the synthetic melt to the melt pump at a lower pressure than the synthetic melt provided by the melt pump to the tool.

  • Publication number: 20100297639
Abstract: The present invention provides for assays useful in predicting whether a cancer patient risks suffering erythropoietin-induced tumor progression if treated with erythropoietin. More specifically, one embodiment provides for a validated quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction assay that detects erythropoietin receptor expression, thus indicating whether a cancer patient risks suffering erythropoietin-induced tumor progression if treated with erythropoietin.

  • Publication number: 20030145055
Abstract: A method is provided for delivering and processing data subsets from a number of sources to/in a central data processing unit. The data subsets are transferred via an internet interface to the central data processing unit and stored there. The data subsets from different sources are processed to form a shared program and the program is stored in a central memory. The program can be transferred and read using the internet interface. Data concerning the status of the data processing operation in its current updated form is signaled via the internet interface and/or reported back to the sources via a message communication system/service.
