  • Patent number: 10979062
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques to perform analog signal conditioning (including filtering and amplification) and analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) on a System-in-package (SIP) assembly technology. In particular, the disclosure combines a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), one or more filter circuits, and an ADC circuit onto the same SIP. These devices are coupled together on the SIP using high-accuracy and precise integrated-passive components. The SIP receives an analog signal, amplifies the analog signal with the PGA on the SIP, filters the amplified analog signal with the filter circuit(s) on the SIP, and then performs analog-to-digital conversion on the filtered amplified analog signal with the ADC circuit on the SIP. The SIP can be configured for various applications based on a variety of inputs and control mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 10860737
Abstract: A resume database system allows for resume records on the resume database system to be viewed by others via a Uniform Resource Locator, URL. In addition, in response to instructions from an authorized user of the resume database system, input from an unauthorized, but otherwise verified, source can be added to the database by the resume database system. The verified user accesses the resume database and completes any necessary forms via a web browser and submits the information. The authorized user defines the actions that the verified user is allowed to take. These actions include, for example, only being able to review resume information, or being able to add information to the resume database without needing training on the operation of the database. A resume database server system coordinates the activity of the authorized and verified users. Communications between all three users is accomplished via a computer network.

  • Patent number: 10097200
Abstract: A device having a sample-rate converter that may be programmed to generate samples at different rates is synchronized to an external synchronization pulse by temporarily changing the sample rate to a temporary sample rate and then changing the sample rate back to the original sample rate. Synchronization in a reduced amount of time is achieved by determining the interval between the synchronization pulse and one of the output samples and determining a processing time of the device for generating the output samples at a new rate. The system calculates a temporary sample rate based on these calculations that tends to reduce an amount of time to achieve synchronization.

  • Publication number: 20110022528
Abstract: A method for transmitting a plurality of related data items by a plurality of different formats includes assigning a unique identifier to a plurality of related data items stored on web server. The method further includes a transmitter receiving the unique identifier from a browser function and retrieving the plurality of related data items from the web server storing the unique identifier and the plurality of related data items. The transmitter formats the plurality of related data items into at least one of the different transmission formats and transmits the plurality of related data items by the formats selected by the user. In one embodiment, the browser function is a bookmarklet having the function of sending the unique identifier to the transmitter. In another embodiment, the plurality of related data items is information related to a job opportunity and the unique identifier is a job identifier.

  • Publication number: 20090301481
Abstract: A medicant dispenser comprises a valve with an actuator movable between a valve closed and a valve open position and through which medicant is selectively released and a device for detecting that medicant has been released. The device comprises a light generator for emitting a beam of light, a sensor for sensing light emitted from the light generator and a counter coupled to the sensor for receiving a signal therefrom and for counting dispensation of the medicant. The sensor is arranged to switch the counter to an operating condition on receipt of light emitted from the light generator. The light generator and the sensor are positioned such that medicant being dispensed interrupts the light beam emitted from the light generator thereby provoking a further signal from the sensor. The counter is arranged to detect variations in the further signal from the sensor indicative of dispensation of the medicant.
