Abstract: A helmet assembly includes an upper member, a lower member, and rigid or semi-rigid plates connected between the two members. The helmet may include a series of fluidly connected air compartments beneath the plates is disclosed. Embodiments of the helmet may dissipate impact energy in multiple ways including deformation of the plates, shifting of the plates, cushioning of the plates against a resilient compressible material present in the upper member, compression of air within the air compartments, movement of air within the air compartments, and/or expansion of air in non-impacted sections of the air compartments which causes the shifting of non-impacted plates. Springs with or without resilient, compressible inserts may be positioned between movable plates and a frame member. A spine including compressible material may extend along a top section of the helmet and connect plates on opposite sides of the helmet.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a tracking system for a ride vehicle. A tracking system for a ride vehicle includes a contact switch sensor including a plurality of contact closure switches. The contact switch sensor is situated on the ride vehicle. The tracking system for the ride vehicle further includes a plurality of location indicator devices situated on or proximate to a path of the ride vehicle. Each location indicator device of the plurality of location indicator devices is configured to communicate location information to the contact switch sensor via the plurality of contact closure switches when the ride vehicle passes by each location indicator device of the plurality of location indicator devices.

Abstract: A beverage preparation machine permits automated preparation of a variety of beverages. A plurality of stations add ingredients to a beverage container and process the contents directly in the container in some embodiments. Parallel preparation of more than one beverage may be performed in some embodiments. A robotic arm moves the beverage container to the stations. The robotic arm may include a weight sensor as part of controlling the addition of ingredients.

The first and second set of electrical connectors are outside of the hollow space. The first set of electrical connectors is coupled to the second set of electrical connectors through a set of electrical wires housed in the hollow space.

The pill dispenser includes systems for detecting the dispensing of the pill, and systems for recording and/or reporting pill dispensing events to a mobile device or remote server to allow compliance tacking. Some embodiments of the pill dispenser require a removal tool to remove a cap assembly from the storage compartment. Some embodiments including a locking ring that prevents the removal tool from removing the cap assembly. The locking ring must be damaged in some embodiments to remove the locking ring from the container.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bale cutting apparatus comprising attachment means for coupling the apparatus to a prime mover and a cutting means to cut through a bale containing fodder. The apparatus has cutting means that is operable to retain the bale against a stop member and cut through the bale such that the fodder is discharged from the bale and any bale covering materials are retained by the apparatus. The present invention eliminates the need to separately remove any covering materials in which the fodder is wrapped.
