  • Publication number: 20240015429
Abstract: A device for detecting airborne sound for use in automobiles may include an acoustic sensor, a protective screen for protecting the device against the ingress of coarse foreign matter, an acoustically permeable, hydrophobic and/or lipophobic first membrane, which is placed behind the protective screen in the airflow direction such that when a stream of water enters the opening, the water flows past the first membrane and out of the opening, a sound chamber parallel to the axial axis, wherein a length of the sound chamber is less than 10 mm, preferably less than 6 mm, particularly preferably less than 3 mm, and a printed circuit board comprising components and their connections for preprocessing analog or digital signals from the acoustic sensor, and wherein the acoustic sensor is located on one side of the printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20230373521
Abstract: A system with which automated vehicles can detect road damage, wherein the automated vehicles have at least one sensor for detecting structure-borne and/or air-borne sounds generated by the vehicle when driving over road damage, wherein the system is configured to detect the road damage on the basis of the data from the at least one sensor. The system also records the position of the automated vehicle when driving over the road damage and stores it. Position and information regarding the road damage are sent to a control unit in the automated vehicle, or other automated vehicles. The control unit determines regulating and/or control signals for an avoidance trajectory with which the road damage is avoided or passed on the basis of the position and information regarding the road damage that is received.

  • Patent number: 9035669
Abstract: An apparatus for testing electronic devices, having a test head coupled to at least one immovably mounted test socket, a positioning device for positioning the electronic device in testing position and a lead-backer attached to the positioning device for supporting the electronic device and pressing it against the test socket. A supply port for supplying a temperature control medium to a temperature control system of the said lead-backer is immovably mounted beside the said test socket, the said temperature control system of the said lead-backer and the said supply port communicate with each other when the electronic device is in testing position, whereby the said temperature control medium flows from the said supply port to the said temperature control system of the said lead-backer.
