HOLISTIC MANURE MANAGEMENT WITH IMPROVED ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND EXTRACTION OF MANURE VALUE
Publication number: 20240360020Abstract: Methods and equipment of this invention enable small scale animal farming operations to substantially all or nearly all the recoverable value from their manure streams at a cost suitable for such smaller scale operations. The invention gives small scale animal farming operations the opportunity to obtain manure recovery benefits typically obtainable only in animal farming operations having high animal populations. The recovery is in forms that are both useable, readily monetized, environmentally sustainable, and cost effective. Much of the recovered material can find use back within the processing steps of invention thereby increasing the value of the recovered residual materials.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2023Publication date: October 31, 2024Inventors: Robert Hickey, James Wallace, Charles Kontz, Michael Hickey -

Patent number: 8930218Abstract: The medical data analysis system automatically identifies medical information sources which correlate to anomalies identified in a set of patient medical data relating to an identified patient. The system includes a digital library for providing access to a plurality of information sources which relate to interpreting patient medical data and possible diseases associated with the patient medical data. A data characterization module calculates normative variations of a set of patient medical data to identify anomalies. Based upon this statistical analysis, a digital library interface module searches the digital library for information sources relating to the set of patient medical data and interpretations of the identified anomalies. There is also an information access module which provides an authorized user, such as a physician, with access to the information sources returned by the digital library interface module and relating to this set of patient medical data.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2009Date of Patent: January 6, 2015Assignee: WAViInventors: David Oakley, Michael Hickey

Patent number: 7519171Abstract: A method of automatically sharing and transferring information between a Work at Work (WAW) ISDN telephone and a Work at Home (WAH) ISDN telephone. This information includes, calling line identifier delivery from the WAW telephone to the WAH telephone, facilitating subsequent transferring of the call to the WAH telephone if desired. Message waiting status is also shared, facilitating the coordination of message waiting lamps at both the WAW and WAH telephone. Information from one telephone to the other is carried transparently through the ISDN network as user-to-user information, calling party subaddress, D channel X.25 packet message, lower layer compatibility or a combination of these elements. The telephones automatically establish ISDN calls between themselves and swap information pertaining to the status of the companion telephones.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2005Date of Patent: April 14, 2009Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, LPInventors: Edward Michael Hickey, Robert John Laitman

Patent number: 6328502Abstract: An apparatus for laying deep water sub sea pipelines either by means of reeled pipe or conventional pipelay (“stock on”) is disclosed. The vessel is equipped with a dynamic positioning system that is integrated into the pipelay control system. Both methods of pipe lay utilize a rigid stinger capable of supporting the pipe from near 0 degrees through a departure angle of 90 degrees, simulating a J-lay orientation. The Reel System consists of a storage reel, reel drive system, straightener aligner system, two tensioner systems, three exit rollers, stinger and dynamic positioning system. The conventional pipelay system consists of the above without the storage reel and reel drive system. All pipelay equipment has the capability of leveling winding, thus maintaining a specific pipe profile while the pipe is either being spooled on the quay side or laid on the seabed. The storage reel is modular where it can be removed by either skidding or divided into piece lifts.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1999Date of Patent: December 11, 2001Assignee: Global Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Sean Michael Hickey, Robert Conrad Malahy, Michael Joseph Fibich
