  • Patent number: 10865897
Abstract: A non-return valve for a solenoid valve includes a non-return valve seat and a movable closure element. The valve seat is arranged at an edge of a fluid channel. The movable closure element is configured to carry out a direction-orientated throughflow and sealing function. The closure element includes a sealing cone, an abutment base, and a resilient sealing ring. The sealing ring is arranged between the abutment base and the sealing cone. The abutment base forms, in the event of sealing, a support face for the resilient sealing ring. At an edge of the non-return valve seat there is a first support face which in the event of sealing forms with a second support face which is formed at the outer edge of the abutment base in the direction of the non-return valve seat a mechanical axial stop for the movable closure element.

  • Patent number: 10767783
Abstract: A method for actuating a valve with a magnetic valve drive, through which electric current is passed to open the valve, to close the valve, and to hold the valve in an open or closed position, includes receiving an opening signal. The method further includes varying the electric current that is passed through the valve drive as a first current signal to open the valve in response to the received opening signal. The method further includes receiving a closing signal and varying the electric current that is passed through the valve drive as a second current signal for closing the valve in response to the received closing signal. The second current signal has at least two variations of the electric current at separate times.

  • Patent number: 9577888
Abstract: An approach is provided for managing and verifying configuration of a client network and the network devices by assessing or sharing network/device information. The approach includes querying a client system to determine one or more information items associated with a network and one or more network devices in the client system. The approach further includes generating a verified profile for the network and the one or more network devices. The approach also includes analyzing a modification in an active profile associated with the network and the one or more network devices. Further, the approach includes initiating an update to the verified profile or to the active profile based on a validation of the modification.

  • Patent number: 9106726
Abstract: An approach for enabling a customer to provision resources of a packetized voice service provider based on one or more customer conditions is described. A provision management platform receives a request for provisioning a domain name service as part of packetized voice service. In response to the request, the provision management platform prompts via a graphical user interface to obtain information for populating a service record of the domain name service. The provision management platform then generates the service record for storage corresponding to a customer account for the packetized voice service.

  • Patent number: 8596609
Abstract: The invention relates to a solenoid valve with a magnet assembly and a valve cartridge having a pole core, a valve insert connected to the pole core, an armature which is guided within the valve insert in an axially movable manner between a closed position and an open position and is coupled to a closing element, and a valve body which is connected to the valve insert and has a main valve seat which is arranged between at least one first flow opening and a second flow opening. The axially movable armature, when the magnet assembly is energized, is moved by a generated magnetic force within the valve insert in the direction of the pole core counter to a spring force of a resetting spring and counter to a fluid force in order to lift the closing element out of the main valve seat; and to permit a flow of fluid between the at least one first flow opening and the second flow opening.

  • Patent number: 8579251
Abstract: The invention relates to a solenoid valve, particularly for controlling the brake pressure of a wheel brake of a slip-controllable hydraulic brake system of a motor vehicle. In known solenoid valves, there is a first hydraulically effective connection of an armature chamber of the solenoid valve to an outlet through the guide of a tappet in a valve insert. The first hydraulically effective connection ends in the form of a blind hole and thus does not permit flushing out gas bubbles which possibly have accumulated in the armature chamber. In order to solve this problem, the invention proposes a second hydraulically effective connection which is arranged away from the guide of the tappet, uncoupled from the first hydraulically effective connection. Thus, a closed pressure medium path is effected within a valve cartridge of the solenoid valve, the closed pressure medium path making possible an effective flushing of the armature chamber and thus a flushing out of gas bubbles.

  • Patent number: 8571157
Abstract: A system for and method of validating a VoIP telephone number order is presented. The described systems and methods may allow for corrupt telephone numbers to be discovered and placed in a corrupt telephone number pool. To this end, data may be mined from class 5 switches and VoIP routers and then compared to the telephone numbers in the order. If a telephone number is found to be corrupt, it may be removed from the order and stored in the corrupt telephone number repository for later review. The ordering process for any other requested telephone numbers may then continue on without interruption to the processing of the entire order.

  • Patent number: 7661652
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable valve for brake systems in motor vehicles, comprises a hydraulic part and an electric part. The valve is partially placed inside a valve block, in which an inlet borehole and an outlet borehole for a hydraulic fluid are made. The hydraulic part comprises a valve element inside of which a transversal borehole is made that communicates with the inlet borehole. In addition, a number of longitudinal boreholes, which are connected to the outlet borehole, are made in the valve element. The transversal borehole and the longitudinal boreholes are connected via a closing element. The valve enables a controlled opening and closing of the closing element thereby making a low-noise switching of the valve possible.
