As an end user adjusts the cables connected to the display KVM switch, logic executing on the display adjusts the presentation of the configuration user interface to guide connections with plural information handling systems based upon the cable types and to confirm correct association of keyboard and mouse inputs through the KVM switch with each information handling system.
