  • Publication number: 20240158700
Abstract: A method of steam cracking using a steam cracking arrangement including an electric cracking furnace without a convection zone and a quench cooling train is proposed, wherein a process gas stream is passed through the cracking furnace and the cooling train. The cooling train is operated to comprise at least two distinct cooling steps arranged in either order, wherein in a first cooling step at least a part of the process gas stream withdrawn from the electric cracking furnace is cooled against vaporizing boiler feed water at an absolute pressure level between 30 and 175 bar and wherein in a second cooling step at least a part of the process gas stream withdrawn from the electric cracking furnace is cooled against a superheated mixture of feed hydrocarbons and process steam used in forming the process gas stream which is thereby heated to a temperature level between 350 and 750° C.

  • Patent number: 11152141
Abstract: A ceramic multi-layer component and a method for producing a ceramic multi-layer component are disclosed. In an embodiment a ceramic multi-layer component includes a stack with ceramic layers and electrode layers arranged between them, wherein the ceramic layers and the electrode layers are arranged above one another along a stacking direction, wherein at least one first electrode layer extends along a first main extension direction from a first end region to a second end region of the first electrode layer, and wherein the at least one first electrode layer has a current-carrying capacity that decreases along the first main extension direction.

  • Publication number: 20080144961
Abstract: A method is used for analyzing scenes. The scene or objects in the scene and an optical sensor perform a relative movement and the scene information obtained is evaluated. Visual information of the scene is detected by the individual pixels of the optical sensor and pixel co-ordinates of established variations in intensity are determined. A temporization of the established variations in intensity is determined and a local accumulation of the variations in intensity is determined by statistical methods. The local accumulations are evaluated in terms of the number and/or position thereof by statistical methods and data area clearing methods. The determined values are used as parameters of a detected scene region. A parameter is compared with a pre-determined parameter considered characteristic of an object, and when the pre-determined comparison criteria are fulfilled, the evaluated local amassment associated with the respective scene region is seen as an image of the object.

  • Publication number: 20050207478
Abstract: A device and associated method for passing parameters to a finger in a rake receiver are disclosed. The finger is initially operated with a first parameter set which is held in a first memory area (PAR_RAM). To change the parameter set, a second parameter set is loaded into a second memory area (PAR_CHG_RAM1/2), a check is carried out to determine whether a switching condition (SCHED_RAM) is satisfied, and if it is an access for that finger is switched (MUX) from the first memory area (PAR_RAM) to the second memory area.

  • Publication number: 20050025225
Abstract: In a method for variable weighting of channel coefficients for a RAKE receiver, at least one variable that is characteristic of a transmitter and/or transmission channel and/or receiver characteristic is assessed. A correction factor is determined, which is dependent on the assessment result. The channel coefficients are multiplied by the correction factor, and the corrected channel coefficients are used as the basis for equalization in the RAKE receiver.
