  • Publication number: 20080122559
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microwave filter comprising a plurality of coupled resonators, wherein the plurality of coupled resonators includes at least one coaxial resonator comprising a housing having a lower end wall, a sidewall extending upwardly from the lower end wall and an upper end wall and an inner conductor disposed within the housing and extending upwardly from the lower end wall along the longitudinal axis of the housing. At least one of the coaxial resonators comprises in its lower end wall and/or in its upper end wall a coupling means for effecting electromagnetic coupling of the respective coaxial resonator with an adjacent resonator.

  • Publication number: 20070061971
Abstract: A medical examination table is provided. The medical examination table comprises a base providing a storage area, a patient support movable independent of the base between a lowered position and a raised position, and a lift mechanism coupled to the patient support for moving the patient support between the lowered position and the raised position. The patient support comprises a backrest and a seat. Movement of the patient support independent or separately from the base and without interfering with the storage areas within the base may allow for the efficient use of the examination table as a storage area.

  • Publication number: 20060132264
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determine values for a set of construction parameters of a cavity resonator (1) comprising a housing (2) having a base (3), a sidewall (4) extending upwardly from the base (3) and an upper cover plate (5), and an inner conductor (6) having a width dimension D and extending upwardly from the base (3) along a length L, the housing (2) comprising a first material and the inner conductor (6) comprising a second material different from the first material. These values yield a minimum temperature induced change of resonant frequency f0 in a given temperature range ?T with respect to the set of construction parameters. To determine the values, the resonant frequency f0 is calculated as a function of temperature and the set of construction parameters.

  • Publication number: 20050066861
Abstract: An adjustable height support column for an examination table/chair is disclosed. The column includes nesting sleeve sections that are relatively slidable with respect to one another. The column uses camming guide rails in combination with cam followers located on the sleeve sections to provide for a column that is sturdy, compact, and may support a sufficiently heavy patient. One or more linear actuators provide for extension and retraction of the column.
