  • Patent number: 7703498
Abstract: A window screen assembly for a window, which is disposed in a window frame. This assembly can include a housing coupled to a window frame, at least one screen disposed in the housing window frame, and at least one lock for selectively locking the screen to the window. In this case, the screen can be locked to the window, so that it moves with the window in the window frame. An end attachment element can also be coupled to the screen wherein this attachment element can be designed to either stand up in a window to allow attachment to the lock or catch on the window or to lay flat to allow for inactivity and detachment of the screen from the window.

  • Patent number: 7269913
Abstract: The present invention is a universal tape measure jacket with dual retractable marking means capabilities. The universal tape jacket with dual marking means when retrofit over conventional tape measures creates an affordable measure and marking system. The tape locking means on most conventional tape measures could also be modified to be able to link with either/or of the retractable marking means on the universal tape jacket; thus, the user has the option to lock the tape coil into a fixed position and then manually engage one or both of the dual markers independent of the tapes locking means or when linked with one or more of the retractable markers, make them work in conjunction with the tape measures locking means.

  • Patent number: 6749088
Abstract: A toothbrush with an extraction device, such as a key winding tool feature, built into the handle portion, which is used to facilitate the dispensing of toothpaste or the contents of other pasty substances found in collapsible tubes. One or more open-ended slits allow the handle portion to be easily slipped onto the free end of a tube or to be slipped back onto an already curled tube for further ease of manipulation. The toothbrush easily slips off the tube after curling with it, so as to allow the toothbrush to be used for brushing teeth, and allows its use on a plurality of collapsible tubes in various stages of use. The brush head portion can be made detachable so that other attachments made be attached to the handle portion or so that a winding tool remains after the toothbrush head is rendered no longer usable.

  • Patent number: 6470947
Abstract: A hidden window screen assembly for a sash window containing a snap-on cover to conceal the rolled-up screen. The screen assembly fits into the upper and lower frame member of a conventional sash window. When the frame member is opened, the rolled-up screen is extended. When the frame member is closed, the screen returns to its rolled-up position, allowing a clear view through the window.

  • Patent number: 5435074
Abstract: The present invention is a tape measuring device having a main housing containing a coiled flexible measuring tape extendable from the front side of the housing. On the front side of the housing is a marker housing containing a marker. A locking mechanism, disposed on the front side of the housing, adjacent to the marker housing is linked to the marker and the scribe through a lever arm. Accordingly, when the locking mechanism is pressed down, the lever arm drives the marker outside the marker housing, exposing the tip of the marker. The user can then mark the measured material with the tip. Further movement of the locking mechanism will move it into a locked position whereby the tape is fixed after the user releases the locking mechanism. When the locking mechanism is returned to its original position, the tip moves back inside the housing to provide protection when not in use.
