  • Patent number: 12055289
Abstract: Described herein are catalytic heating systems, comprising catalytic reactors and dual-mode fuel evaporators, and methods of operating such systems. A dual-mode fuel evaporator is thermally coupled to a catalytic reactor and comprises an electric heater used for preheating the evaporator to at least a fuel-flow threshold temperature. Upon reaching this threshold, the liquid fuel, such as ethanol or methanol, is flown into the evaporator and evaporates therein, forming vaporized fuel. The vaporized fuel is mixed with oxidant, and the mixture is flown into the catalytic reactor where the vaporized fuel undergoes catalytic exothermic oxidation. At least some heat, generated in the catalytic reactor, is transferred to the evaporator and used for the evaporation of additional fuel. When the evaporator reaches or exceeds its operating threshold, the electric heater can be turned off and all heat is supplied to the evaporator from the catalytic reactor.

  • Patent number: 10723561
Abstract: An access hood assembly for a conveyor cover is provided. The access hood assembly embodies a cammed lock assembly at each corner, for easier and safer opening, with no tools required, wherein each cammed lock assembly can act to lock the hood or as a pivot point to pivot about to an open position, when the hood is opened from the opposing side, where the associated cammed lock assemblies have been moved to an unlocked position. The arcuate hood of the access hood assembly supports multiple connection points for each cammed lock assembly to engaged in a locked position for securely keeping the access hood propped open when desired.

  • Patent number: 6702382
Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a lift system 12 for a rocker recliner comprising a rocker limiter 28 and a plurality of chair base lifts 40 which can be retrofitted to existing rocker recliners. The rocker limiter 28 is a device having an arcuate face 29 whereby the device can be fixedly positioned to the rocker cam 30 or rocker base 22 limiting the movement of the rocker mechanism in one direction. The chair base lifts 40 are a plurality of interlocking blocks or a single block that are engagingly positioned beneath the chair support base 26 to raise the rocker recliner by a distance determined by the number and thickness of chair height lifts positioned thereunder.
