  • Patent number: 12291787
Abstract: A process can be used for electrochemical preparation of an alkali metal alkoxide solution. The process is performed in an electrolysis cell having three chambers, where the middle chamber is separated from the cathode chamber by a solid-state electrolyte permeable to cations, for example NaSICON, and from the anode chamber by a diffusion barrier, for example a membrane selective for cations or anions. The process solves a problem where a concentration gradient forms in the middle chamber of the electrolysis cell during the electrolysis, which leads to locally lowered pH values and damage to the solid-state electrolyte used. This is prevented where a gas is introduced into the middle chamber during the electrolysis, which results in better mixing of the electrolyte solution in the middle chamber and prevents the formation of a concentration gradient.

  • Patent number: 12294479
Abstract: A UE of a wireless communication network first receives a modulation and coding scheme index IMCS for demodulating a physical layer data channel of the network. The UE then demodulates the physical layer data channel with a non-square quadrature amplitude modulation (NS-QAM) having a modulation order and code rate corresponding to a spectral efficiency (SPEFF) substantially equal to a SPEFF of a square QAM (S-QAM) SPEFF indicted by the IMCS, where the NS-QAM has an effective channel code rate no larger than the code rate for which the UE may skip decoding a transport block in an initial received transmission.

  • Patent number: 12273963
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a control node may receive, from a movable relay node, a capability message indicating a set of operational parameters for the movable relay node. The control node may determine a location for the movable relay node based on the capability message and may transmit, to the movable relay node, a location message indicating the determined location. The movable relay node may change locations or reconfigure one or more relay devices (e.g., reconfigurable intelligent surfaces) of the movable relay node based on the location message. Accordingly, the control node may use the movable relay node to relay messages between the control node and a second node, which may increase the likelihood of successful communications between the control node and the second node.
