  • Patent number: 11373501
Abstract: A snooze alert device, system and method monitor a user and alert the user if the user starts to fall asleep while operating a vehicle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 21, 2019
Date of Patent: June 28, 2022
    Inventor: Michael Houser
  • Patent number: 8482145
Abstract: A wave energy system and method are provided that have a main body that floats on the surface of the ocean and generates energy due to the motion of the crests and troughs of the ocean.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 29, 2010
Date of Patent: July 9, 2013
    Assignee: Ocean Energy Management Limited
    Inventors: Michael Houser, Cameron Price
  • Publication number: 20130069487
Abstract: An electrical energy generator and a method of generating electrical energy are provided. The electrical energy generator has a rotating drive shaft, a first member connected to the rotating drive shaft and one or more base plates that encircle the first member and rotate relative to the first member. Each base plate has one or more electrical energy generator components and each electrical energy generator component has one or more piezoelectric elements that are excited when the base plates rotate relative to the first member and that generate electrical energy. The electrical energy output of the electrical energy generator is a total of the electrical energy output of the piezoelectric elements on the one or more base plates.

  • Patent number: 6318080
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission design incorporating a filter housing mounted adjacent to check valves in a center section. The filter housing can be secured to the center section by the check valves, which also may include high pressure bleeds to allow hydraulic fluid to flow from the hydraulic circuit. A shield may be located between the high pressure bleeds and the filter to prevent damage by the fluid to the filter as it exits the bleeds. The filter housing can also include integral projections on which a bypass actuation member can be mounted.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 1, 2001
Date of Patent: November 20, 2001
    Assignee: Hydro-Gear Limited Partnership

  • Patent number: 6185936
Abstract: A hydrostatic transmission design incorporating a mechanical bypass having a filter housing mounted adjacent to check valves in a center section. The filter housing can be secured to the center section and acts to house the actuation member which moves to unseat the check balls and place the unit into bypass. An actuation rod is mounted external to the filter housing and can be rotated to move the actuation member into or out of the bypass position.
