    Abstract: A power converter having an integrated input bias self-supply function has an input switch, a controller, an output switch, and an output filter having an inductor. The controller includes control circuitry, a bias drive circuit, and a bias supply circuit. The bias supply circuit includes a bias transistor and a bias diode. The control circuitry and the bias drive circuit produce a bias drive signal indicative of the conductive states of the input and output switches. When the bias drive signal is asserted, the bias transistor is configured to be on and the bias diode is configured to be reverse biased and not conduct any forward current. When the bias drive signal is deasserted, the bias transistor is configured to be off.

    Abstract: A power converter comprises a stack of circuit layers, a magnetic core, an area of the stack of circuit layers, and power converter circuit components mounted on the stack of circuit layers. The stack of circuit layers has a hole which extends through each of the circuit layers. A portion of the circuit layers form an energy transfer element that comprises an input winding and an output winding. Each winding includes at least one winding layer having a planar winding and connections for electrical connectivity. The magnetic core is positioned within the hole substantially perpendicular to the stack. The area of the stack of circuit layers encompasses the windings and connections for electrical connectivity of the input and output windings. The power converter circuit components are mounted within the area of the stack and external to the magnetic core.

    Abstract: A coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.

The fingers of a jig are flexible that they can bend sufficiently independently of each other that one finger can accommodate a non-uniformity of a surface to be contacted by the jig so that other fingers remain in contact with other areas of the surface. The fingers can be defined by slits orthogonal to a perimeter of the jig.
