  • Patent number: 6672355
Abstract: A device for applying a non-circular adhesive label to a non-circular optical disc includes a disc support moveable between the first position supporting the disc in a spaced apart relationship with a label and a second position enabling contact between the label and the disc. An arm is provided and moveable with the disc support for compacting the disc and aligning the disc with a label as the disc is moved from the first position to the second position.

  • Patent number: 6660113
Abstract: A device for applying a non-circular adhesive label to a non-circular optical disc includes a base having an axial opening therein and a platform surrounding the opening for supporting the non-circular label. A plunger having a disc support element projects from the platform though the base axial opening and movable between a fist position supporting the disc above the platform and a second position enabling contact between the label and the disc. Arms are provided and attached to the plunger and movable therewith for contacting edges of the disc and aligning the disc with the label on the platform as the plunger is moved from the first to the second position.

  • Patent number: 6543515
Abstract: An apparatus for applying labels on optical discs having a base capable of supporting a label. A plunger element capable of supporting and positioning an optical disc with respect to the label and movably coupled with the base so to be capable of affixing labels on the optical disc concentrically with the rotational axis of the optical disc. A biasing element in cooperative arrangement with the base and the plunger element so as to bias the plunger element toward a position above the base. A locking mechanism that locks the plunger element into a fixed position relative to the base. A foam element positioned on the base and adapted to keeping the label horizontally oriented. A nonskid surface positioned on the bottom of the base for limiting undesired movement of the base. A positioning element coupled with the plunger element and/or the bottom of the base for positioning the biasing element within the base.

  • Patent number: 6412889
Abstract: An organizer for orientation of desk top items includes a frame, having a front, back and two sides, for receiving a plurality of modules, orienting the modules vertically within the frame between to two sides and enabling access to the modules from the frame front and a plurality of modules and a bracket for attaching one of the frame sides to a generally vertical surface. The bracket includes a body for engaging the frame, a bendable tab extending from a top of said body for attaching said body to a top of the computer monitor, and a rear tab, hingeably attached to a rear of said body, for attaching said body rear to a side of the computer monitor, the hingeable attachment enabling stabilization of the body rear at a spaced apart relationship with the computer monitor side. One of the modules may include interface connections for contact with a computer.
