  • Patent number: 11928545
Abstract: A method for processing the packages in a material handling environment is disclosed. The method includes receiving an image of a field of view of an image capturing device. The image comprising at least one decodable indicia having a predefined shape, the at least one decodable indicia attached to a package. The method further includes identifying one or more decodable indicia image coordinates, wherein each of the one or more decodable indicia image coordinates define a corner of the at least one decodable indicia using a 2-dimensional (2D) coordinate system. The method further includes transforming the one or more decodable indicia image coordinates to one or more decodable indicia spatial coordinates in the 3D coordinate system. Further, the method includes comparing the one or more decodable indicia spatial coordinates with one or more 3D region coordinates to determine whether the package is within a 3D region.

  • Patent number: 10333955
Abstract: A method of protecting a network-connected device from an advanced persistent threat cyber-attack is provided. A network-connected device having an operating system, a memory, memory instructions holding executable program instructions, and being communication enabled, is protected from an advanced persistent threat by steps of detecting the advanced persistent threat due to the presence of rogue software in the memory instructions of the network-connected device and locking-down the communications of the network-connected device. The network-connected device may be provided with low-level routines that are correlated to the memory instructions. Detecting the advanced persistent threat may be comprised of authenticating the memory instructions of the network-connected device by using the installed low-level routines.

  • Patent number: 9715614
Abstract: An imaging apparatus can be operative to capture a frame of image data representing a scene having one or more decodable indicia and display image data corresponding to the one or more decodable indicia. The imaging apparatus can be operative so that responsively to a user input control decoded message data of a selected decodable indicia is selectively output. One or more processor executable program can be provided for facilitating selective output of decoded message data.

  • Patent number: 9477856
Abstract: A system for reading code symbols includes a camera, a user interface system, and a processor communicatively coupled to the camera and the user interface system. The user interface system includes a visual display. The processor is configured for (i) capturing an image including a code symbol, (ii) displaying the image on the visual display, (iii) determining whether the code symbol in the image is readable by the processor, and (iv) displaying on the visual display a positive indicator overlaying the code symbol in the image when the processor determines that the code symbol in the image is readable by the processor.
